Everything! Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Room was large and we had what appeared to be the gaming themed room. The lotion, soaps and shampoo were awesome! We will definitely stay here again!

Nothing really. I would state that if you are elderly or have issues with steep stairs you might have an issue. They do however have one or two bottom floor rooms that you could request.

The small hotel was located in the centre of Utrecht, by one of the canals, and it was quite new

The Marky k Hotel, is a beautiful small hotel in the center of Utrecht, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and attention to detail, is located in the city center in front of a canal a few steps from the cathedral and the central station, would recommend to all those who have to work for holiday or to visit the splendid Utrecht.

The bed was super-soft, one of the beds that form a big crater in the middle of the mattress. It was also impossible to turn the TV volume up above the level of a whisper.

The hotel is a historic listed building and probably used to be a merchant's city house. Our room at the front of the hotel, with a view overlooking the canal, was spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the reception/breakfast room looking into the garden gave a peaceful start to the day.

The stairs! These are of typical old-style dutch design and more like climbing ladders. (For this reason less energetic people may want to request a ground-floor room.) However, the staff do carry your cases to the room.

Very comfortable. Perfect location for exploring Utrecht on foot or by water. Owner - Marika is extremely helpful and accommodating. I could not have been more satisfied.

The hotel was wonderfully comfortable and in a great location. We really appreciated the attention to detail that has gone into this lovely hotel. We have family in Utrecht and will definitely pick the Mary K again on our next stay. The beds were great. Every room was unique. The bath products were lovely. Mary K was a wonderful hostess.

they didn't get my booking.com reservation so i had to move to another hotel a day later. the second hotel was an upgrade

Very nice atmospheric hotel. Good location just by the canal.

Mattress was too soft and I found it difficult to sleep, being used to a hard firm mattress. Breakfast was quite expensive for what it was - 10 euros for bread and jam and a couple of slices of ham and some cheese, with not much choice. Service at breakfast was quite slow and it was lucky I wasn't in a hurry.

Very friendly staff. The hotel is nicely located 3 min away from the very center on the main canal and a 10min walk away from the train station. Rather quiet neighbourhood close to the shopping, restaurants/bars part of the city.

It is indeed a bit expensive, BUT still cheaper than most other hotels in this central area

The personal touch......she was really friendly and I loved the note in our room for arrival. Also excellent quality shampoo etc in bathroom and for once a good hairdryer !

Friendly and welcoming, very comfortable room with great bed. Spotlessly clean. Good wifi connection and really well located.

Needs it's own residents bar.
