Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport  

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good but the menu was very limited. The hotel was very clean. The Hotel free shuttle was great

For a 4Star hotel the facilities were very limited and was too far out from Amsterdam central to be a good place to commute from. The Resturant food was good but the menu was very limited. I could not believe in a 4 Start hotel and the price I paid per night did not include breakfast. At €21 per person we only used it once and went to the petrol station next door. Of €4!!!!

We have stayed at the Amsterdam Airport hotel many, many times. The staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel is located across from a park which is ideal for walking - even in the rain. Transportation to the center of Amsterdam is easy by bus and only 2 Euros per person. The breakfast is costly, but well worth it if booked as part of a promotion.

We always ask for a room facing the park and not one facing the parking lot and trains, which tend to be a little noisy.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, well equipped

Restaurant too expensive. Airport shuttle not easy to take. We had to stand out in the cold a long time before the shuttle came to pick us up, then it was full and we had to wait for another. We almost got bumped off the one we needed to take to the airport the next morning because there were so many people taking it.

I travel a lot, business and pleasure, Europe & Asia and this place is massively overpriced. It's a Motel. At Half the rate I paid, it would be almost acceptable value.

The lake close across the street is really beautiful and perfect for a nice breakfast. The environment is quiet and perfectly relaxing. The room was really clean. The shop in the gas station next to the hotel offers delicious and good price croissant and coffee.

It was a little bit far from the city, but accessible with public transport in 20 minutes from city center. The guy who works at the bar was too loud one night when we were there for dinner.

Clean, modern hotel with helpful friendly staff.

The courtesy bus runs every half hour on the hour from the Mercure to Schiphol and the same on the quarter hour the other way except for two blackout periodson Sunday one of which which left us stranded at the Schiphol for an hour and one half Sunday morning. We were unable to connect to the free WiFi service on our IPAD or Droid phone during our three days. We were able to receive email on the hotel's computer however.

Convenient with shuttle and set in relatively quiet and attractive surroudings. Staff helpful and professional. Room adequate; reasonable value for the price.

Ove-priced breakfast therefore didn't take it there. Relatively decent take-out breakfast available at next-door petrol station.

Mainly the location, near the airport with good bus links to the city. Also, the front of house staff (and house-keeping) were very friendly and helpful.
