Mercure Hotel Haren-Groningen, is a central starting and meeting point for a business or leisure trip to Groningen, Assen or the North of the Netherlands.
You can enjoy the quiet environment of the suburbs and still be close by the city. The Hortus Haren, The Groninger Museum, Martiniplaza, The Martini Tower and the attractive shopping center, the numerous bars and restaurants in the city centre of Groningen.
The hotel bicycles are upon availability free of charge for our guests. You can explore the city center and the beautiful nature of Groningen.
On Sundays you can have a late check out until 15.00 hours.
The Eelde airport is only 10 minutes away from the hotel.

We also liked being able to drive straight into Groningen on the central road avoiding the motorways and the ring road. The staff were friendly, pleasant, professional, courteous and helpful. We liked the restaurant as it was possible to have soup and cake and coffee instead of a big meal. There was just one thing, we were unable to make tea or coffee in our room.	9.5
