The location for an early morning departure is perfect. I am able to check in for my flight at the klm Lounge right across from the hotel. I have stayed several times at this hotel and am thrilled it is available again after renovation. However, I cannot master the shower and find it too high tech. Also, as a Senior Citizen, I would appreciate a bath mat in the shower so that I do not slip; this could be a safety factor for you to examine. I will continue to stay at the Mercure Schiphol Terminal but hope the shower situation can be remedied. I liked everything with the exception of the shower. It is too complicated for me and I ended up with water all over my head which I did not want. There are no directions as to how it works. Also, as a Senior Citizen, I did not feel safe in the shower; I needed a mat on the shower floor so I would not slip. This, for me, is a real safety issue.

Awful place. The room was minuscule and had no windows. Air conditioning cannot be turned off. I am lucky I am not tall, otherwise I wouldn't have fit into the bed. They advertised "minibar on request" but there was no minibar available. The staff had no idea of directions/information I was asking for. No breakfast available, except for a coffee machine and fridge with some drinks at reception. Check in 6pm, check out time 9am (I wonder what they do with the room between 9am and 6pm...??). The hotel is inside the security area of the airport, so every time you get in and out you must queue through security check and passport control. The wi-fi connection is slow and does not allow to send- receive emails with outlook. They request full payment upon arrival. No room service. No bathrobe, no body cream/moisturizer.

It was nice to be past security in the morning before catching an international flight ... McDonald's Breakfast and all .. I didn't like the late checkin and early check out. We arrived at 4pm very tired from travelling all day and we were told we would have to wait until 8 pm until checking in. That's 4 hours in the terminal with bags, coats, etc ... we were able to get checked in at 6 and extend the 9 am check out till 10 ... however ... I really like to check in anytime after 1pm and check out by 11 ... otherwise, where is the advantage of being at the airport? You are inside security which is a bit of a hassle when wanting to visit the city and come back, but in the morning you are already past security so that's a plus .... in general the check in and out times I found awkward and non user friendly ... I would have to think about staying here again, though I might ...

Need a better selection for room service. You also need better signs and more signs showing your location.

This hotel was perfect for a one night stay during my conection to São Paulo, because it is very well located inside the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. Although you have to show your passport to imigration officers if you have to go to the downtown, there are many access to convenience stores, "Free Duty" shops, cafes and many other options close to the hotel inside the airport. Also there is a free wi-fi internet conection inside you room. Perhaps, the only change I would suggest to the hotel are the rules for check-in, which starts very late. I had to pay 15 euros to check- in in advance, because I arrived too soon. I believe the time I arrived was 15:00.

Very convenient if you are travelling through Amsterdam. It is located beyond security control within the airport, which makes your connection next morning very easy. No check-in lines, no security lines, etcetera. Just remember to check in online before you get to the Hotel, otherwise you'll have to exit the secure area in the morning to access the check- in counters. The environment is surreal. Rooms are windowless (for obvious reasons: you are in the center of the airport building), and once you get out of the hotel you are in the middle of a huge duty-free shopping area. Everything is flooded by artificial light, with loudspeaker calling for flights, etcetera. Not a very relaxing atmosphere.

Good overnight stay if traveling the next day. Nothing fancy but met our requirements for one night. Hotels position past Customs is a bit of a drawback, particularly with plenty of luggage. Access should be made easier. Also one or two hooks in the bathroom would be useful.

Excellent rooms, even without the usual window. They should at least offer a proper breakfast even though there are plenty of places around where to go but it means having to go out and look for it.

Lack of windows! Very hard to find - there are no signs, and none of the airport staff knew where it was. Took me over half an hour of walking to find it.

Location is excellent. Room is clean. Your staff should have knowledge about basic question on where & how to do check-in from inside the terminal. If it's possible to do self check- in then advise to go to the departure hall especially when guest enquire about it for early flights! Room is very tiny for the price.

Convenience to Amsterdam and the rail system. Found out you could ONLY shower there if needed. They told me I could enter the hotel through customs at any time. Untrue. Customs closes its only check point at 12-1AM. I forgot a European single room means single sized bed...

The location was excellent as we were in transit overnight. The room was very pleasantly furnished. The bathroom had an excellent layout with large shower. We had to check out by 10am although on our booking it stated that we could not check in before 8pm. We arrived at 11pm and our flight the next day was at 3pm so it would have been much more convenient if check out had been at noon. The bed was a bit soft for our liking.

Very comfortable and clean. We had a great nights sleep, the room was dark and quiet. The bathroom wsa clean and the shower was great! To check-in for your flight in the morning you have to go back through passport control, which is quite time consuming, so make sure that you allow time for this!
