Score from 406 reviews Very good
The location is good.
Too much noise from a nearby disco till 4 am. Access to parking a bit too complicated. Some smell in the corridors.
the Breakfast and the rooms were clean
too expensive for such a noisy night.
Room was simple but comfortale, clean and tidy. Excellent location at 10 mins walk only to railway station. Bar served good food, and service and staff were excellent.
Being on the town square noise from people shouting outside was an issue, breaking sleep as late as 4am!
staff super friendly and helpful
the bars are below your windows, noisey. Request a room on opposite side if you want a full nights rest
the location is excellent, very clean and helpful stuff!!!
due to its location it is close to bars,so it noisy sometimes during the night.
After we booked 2 rooms thru Booking.com value offer, we were quite happy with the price. I would not be that keen to pay 2 single rooms from the official price list / even the hotel is looking very good - therefor I quote the value of money as fair, even our deal was actually good. Very, very pleasant, professional and also good looking staff in front desk and in lounge bar.
I had a bad luck I guess...my room was on the top floor and last in the corridor...so when I came back to the room at night I realized the heating radiator was warm only in first few ribs...the rest needed simply un-aired...bathroom heated towel hanger did not work at all. I think from the same reason...air in the system. Unfortunately nobody on night shift with simple pliers...edification for me: pliers can be handy to travel with one next time.
right in the center of Tilburg
too soft bed
In the first room the toilet was broken so that we got another room in which then the sink was broken. After telling the personnel about the sink they claimed it would be fixed the next day, which it wasn't
The hotel and city was above my expectation. It was a transfer point on our way to Efterling, but I think that city is worth to stay here longer and Mercure Tilburg is ideal place to feel the rhythm of city life,
Convenient location for city centre, particularly if you want to drink till late
Bars nearby play loud music till 4am, so if you want sleep stay elsewhere
I payed for the parking to the hotel and when it was time to leave I also had to pay within the parking when the hotel told us that we only had to pay for them.
I loved the view from our room. The bed was extremely comfortable. We were attending an event at 013 so perfect loaction! 2 minutes walk!
Bartenders and desk staff were excellent +++
Very noisy on first floor due to Friday night partying across the street.
Location (central to everything)
Location (rooms facing to the street get a lot of noise until late in the night from the nearby party street)
Decent free wi-fi
Double room booked (well in advance); twin room supplied.
The breakfast was excellent
The hotel was overbooked, we had to stay in an alternative (bad) 3* hotel for 1 night. In the second night we were allowed to stay in the suite; this was a room from the 80-ies; old, not comfortable, no airco, no safe, not worth calling it a suite. We were woken up at 8.15am in the morning with drilling noise from the renovation works one floor below us. The hotel promised to compensate me with 1 free night later this/next year. After 2 weeks I still didn't receive the voucher that should have been posted to me.
lovely modern hotel with great facilities.
If you are looking for a good nights sleep over a weekend period....this hotel is not for you. Friday/saturday and sunday nights there is booming music and noise from close by bars and clubs. Our room overlooked centrum square and even with the windows closed it was impossible to sleep until 4am when the bars closed. Reception staff were not interested in my comments and just said that it was normal.
Close to the station, close to the city center.
The restaurant was closed.
Friendly / helpfull staff. The rooms was very good. Location was very good.
very Noisy hotel, staff not friendly
customers service location (city center) premium rooms bar & restaurant (once again thank you for vegan salad!)
Great central location
Maintenance work was being carried out in the hotel from very early morning and lasted all day. This resulted in unbelievable noise and no hot water from 12 noon until 3pm. Very inconvenient as we were attending a family wedding and had young children. Whilst we were informed of this at check in, if we had known at time of booking we would have stayed elsewhere.
