DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal Station    

This hotel is located conveniently next to Amsterdam Centraal Station. It is a short stroll from the old town.

The rooms, especially the door is not sound proof. You can hear people talking in the hallway outside and away from the room. The price is quite high given the size and decor of the room

great staff, clean with good view and location.

Everything. Especially the iMacs in the rooms.

Travelling with a friend - requested twin room with separate beds when booking. Asked again upon check at 11am. Came into the room at 3pm, to find a double bed. Asked for it to be seperated again, came back at 10pm, still no change. Went out and came back at 1am and still no change. Had to sit and wait for staff to come up and change it. Really disappointing given the cost of the room

Found the location excellent, close to all transport routes round the city

Room too small and no facilities to store clothing......Made a reservatio at least 2 months before and the room was an anex to other larger...asked for change...but no way...

clean, spacious and hi-tech. Location is very good.

The bathroom was very efficiently arranged and the room was clean and quiet.

Our tv, computer and some lights in the room did not work the day we arrived.

Excellent staff. Hot chocolate cookies upon arrival. iMac TV is cool. Good Crabtree and Evelyn toilet requisites. Amazing river view.

The hotel was very central to everything in Amsterdam. It was clean and luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay.

The second day of our stay, the electricity and water was out for few minutes, few times that day.

It's very centeral. you can go up to any place of interest by walking. Free Wi-Fi

even though they say 3p.m check-in time which is also late, they couldnt give us the room before It's 5p.m!!! claiming they're still preparing the room and they can offer another room for €50/per day extra payment?!!in the bathroom you need to ask for shaving kit, make-up remover kit, ear buds, etc...

Noise from trains in the night. Being charged city tax, which in my papers from booking .com was payed in advance.Discovered this too late..

My Friend and I were impressed with the Hotel, we couldn't fault any of it, our room had a stunning view over the IJ Canal.

There was nothing to dislike.

Excellent location in the city. We could walk to the pier to catch our ship.

They gave our room away the first nite and sent us elsewhere. When we came back to the hotel, the room wasn't ready. When we returned even later the computers were down. Then the power to the elevators was down. We lost a lot of time out of the day and a half we were spending in Amsterdam over these shenanigans.

No drinks in mini bar, no robes or slippers, cost of drinks in sky lounge.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel location was fantastic.

Double rooms should have double beds. Not two single beds. Rooms with single beds care for view. Single travelers are business travelers or party people.

Perfect location. In the city center, out of the crowd. 200 mt walk to red light neighboorhood.

It is right next to the Central Train Station which made it n easy walk with luggage to catch the train for the airport.

Great central location: easy to see the whole city from. We had a room overlooking the harbour and the Train station - the trains did not disturb our sleep at all.
