The proprietor, Rachel, was wonderful and helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel needed some grooming. Small rooms and very small establishment. |

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Misc Eatdrinksleep. The owners were wonderful; the room was beautiful and comfortable; the location was in the heart of the Amsterdam Center. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. No complaints. |

Excellent breakfast. Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh bread. Rachel the owner very helpful and welcoming. While there it was very hot. Because there was no air con. windows had to be kept open as a result badly bitten by mosquitos. Overhead fan ineffective. |

Loved the relaxed atmosphere, the breakfasts, free mini bar in room, comfy beds, free wi-fi, Pru the cat and most of all, Rachel and Pepijn who were so friendly and helpful. We had to stay a further night (which was unplanned - good old Easyjet!) and even that didn't phase them! They arranged taxis, boat trips and gave good advice re eating out, locally. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip. |

Very helpful owners, good comfy sized beds and pillows, quality toileteries and sensible breakfast times (unless you are working!) make it an ideal base for a city break. Rooms facing the canal can be noisy in the summer but garden rooms delightful. |

This is one of these perfect places : not totally perfect of course, but the kind of place where you feel like at home. The rooms are big enough (for Amsterdam) with a very comfortable big bed. Efficient bathroom. Very central location, and if you choose a room with a garden view (in fact a nice courtyard), it is perfectly quiet. Very good breakfast. And on top of that, the most helpful hosts I have met. Rachel is a diamond. |

What a lovely hotel! We had a brilliant stay here. Rachel and Pepijn are extremely friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the city. We had a garden view room which was really comfortable and quiet with a massive bed! Breakfast is fantastic.This cosy, friendly hotel complete with Pru the cat comes highly recommended! |

The owners .. Pepijn and Rachel are great hosts ... the atmosphere is non stuffy and fun .. making one feel very much at home .. ! There is a love for their city evident in their enthusiasm to provide help and info ... and lots of reading material and the usual well known guide books on offer to borrow ... The hotel is central and within walking distance of most attractions ... its a great place to have as a base and launch off on your many adventures around Amsterdam .. All in all very much a home from home experience ..... absolutely no doubt I will be staying here on my next trip ... |

The owners were very nice and extremely welcoming. With only six rooms, you felt like you were the only ones in the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and cooked to order by Rachel: fresh OJ, bacon, eggs, cheese, bread... delicious! Rooms are funky and fun and there is a great view on the canal side (upgraded to the Africa room). Location is very near the Nieuwmarkt Metro stop too. Know that the stairs are very very steep. Not a problem for us, but would be difficult if the guest had limited mobility. |

We felt at home the entire stay. Both my husband (of 27 years) and I said that we'd go back. I'd suggest a cocktail hour. There is a lovely bar that seems to be under used but as a guest, you'd not want it going all hours either. Perhaps a "guest" cocktail hour if it's not too much work? |

La propriétaire est très aimable, toujours prête à rendre service. Les chambres sont confortables, soignées. Le lit est de bonne qualité. La chambre que nous avions était côté jardin, alors c'est plutôt arrière cour avec vue sur des immeubles mais elle a le grand mérite, à notre goût, d'être calme. L'hôtel est bien situé. |
