You are made to feel very welcome and all help needed is provided. Very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast. The location could not be better. Definitely an hotel for people who do not worry about steep stairs! Not an issue for us but could be for others. Would love to return.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The location was great, right in the middle of all the sites, right on the canal and easy walking distance to all the major attractions. The hotel has a very charming and comfortable atmosphere making it feel like a home away from home. Rachel and Pipijn are very friendly and helpful with tickets and reservations or just to have a nice chat about anything. And they make a delicious breakfast. Next time we return to Amsterdam, we would stay at Misc Eatdrinksleep again. We highly recommend it.

There is nothing to like at this so called motel, and trust me I am giving it more credit than I should when I call it a motel, its worse then a hostel Well in summer its expected that hotels and motels have air conditioning, well imagine one of the coldest winters in Europe and you booked a motel according to the reviews you've read about it and to your surprise the heating is not working . I had to stay in for two days as I caught the flue on my first night as it was so cold , I felt that if I was in Alaska in an igloo I would be warmer. No wonder there is no free cancellation policy ! as they no that once you've tried it you'll never be back and they have to guarantee that they can tie up as much as they can customers as they can as even the so called motel is not even run by the owners , its run by helping hand who don't know the basics of customer support of that of hotel management . keep far away from this (**** , ****) and yes I did contact the owners before posting my review and I was ignored by both of them rashel and pepjin ,

It gives exactly what is promissed. Very nice owners of the place. As soon you book you get an email describing you the Hotel and how to go at best to the Hotel..... ewerything very professional for that kind of a place. What I mean it is not a chain Hotel but they treat you much better. Rooms are very nice and clean, also verything else in the Hotel..... What to say, good choice to stay in Ansteram , I can only recommend all not to lose time to look for another place if they find empty room ...

Cozy hotel, excellent location, very nice staff, nice rooms, Some noise from the streets due to traffic/night life. Not a big problem though and probably only valid for the front side rooms.

Fell in love with charm of Amsterdam and with Misc Eatdrinksleep. Could not have found a better place to stay. Rachel is a great map marker and sent us to all the places we wanted to see. Her restaurant picks were terrific, too. We will definitely be back and we'll stay at Misc Eatdrinksleep!!! Wonderful breakfast included in room rate! Fresh orange juice, breads, jams, granola, yogurt and hot foods if desired - expresso and Latte were exceptional! Friendly, accomodating staff goes out of their way for you, super comfortable bed and pillows, big fluffy towels and fun design in room! All of this made us feel right at home! All the little extras like the orange and cedar soap in our shower and the ginger soap at the sink. Oh, yes, did I mention great location, too!!! We loved it here! Just steep steps - but that is typical in a canal house! Actually conquered them the first day. Bags are taken up and down for you so no problem! The view at the top made it all worthwhile!

Very friendly staff that added that extra personal touch. They even carried our bag upstairs for us. The free mini bar was a nice bonus. Close to Dam Square and Red Light District. And markets were just down the road. Would definently stay there again. The staircase might be a problem for elderly or someone with walking problems.

The hotel is a charming place and the service level is extremely high. Although the record heat somewhat colors the experience, I would absolutely recommend it for travellers who want something that's got personality, good prices and an excellent location. Having to make the choice between opening windows or risk having mosquitoes in the room. Americans also appreciate having washcloths (although this seems to be a universal deficiency), but because the hotel uses body wash, it would be nice to be able to have a cloth for bathing

The best feature of this accommodation was Rachel's warm welcome and her readiness to help you. Breakfast was lovely. We choose this hotel for it's location and were not disappointed. Take the reviews about the step stair in this establishment seriously. We were on the top floor up 3 ladder like stairs, it takes a bit of getting used to. There is no area to sit and relax at the end of the day. The only common area is the breakfast room/bar.

The owners they were excellent, very relaxed, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is situated in a position, which gives you excess to all the attractions. If we ever decide to go to Amsterdam again, this is the hotel that we would choose. With it's quirky atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Yes one to choose.

A nice hot breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ was available. It is managed by the owners, husband and wife. We only saw one staff member. He cooked, cleaned, carried luggage- basically seemed to do most everything- he was very friendly and tried to please. Rachel, owner, was very helpful with any questions asked and seemed to go out of her way to help. This is a 6 bedroom older home converted into basically a B&B, even though it is called a hotel. The breakfast is offered from 9am-noon unless requested earlier. If you are there to sight see that makes you get a late start on the day. The steps to the room were very narrow and steep. No air conditioner and bathroom was very small. Quite alot of outside noises. If you are used to the city then it would not bother you. The husband was extremely rude and did not make you feel welcomed. Completely night and day from the wife.

The hotel is very well situated, quiet with the owners Rachel and Pepijn very hospitable and a fabulous breakfast as part of the room price Difficult to fault from my perspective - steep stairs like most of Nedelands, but they will carry your bags!

останавливались с супругой на одну ночь. отличный отель, "особенный" я бы сказал. просторный номер, беглый wifi. минибар включен в стоимость - такое редко где встречается - мелочь, но приятно. для коротких выходных - идеальное место.
