hotel bevindt zich op een relatief rustig stukje midden in de stad (centraler kan niet). eigenaars van het hotel zijn wat rommelig maar super vriendelijk.

Fijne gastvrije behandeling. Lekkere drankjes en snacks op de ruime kamer en prima ontbijt.

Enige nadeel was lawaai buiten 's nachts

De gastvrije houding van Rachel, je voelt je er meteen thuis de kamers zijn mooi ingericht, niks is teveel gevraagd de gratis drankjes en snacks op de kamer, het geweldige ontbijt...hospitality ten top bedankt Rachel we komen zeker terug.. de meisjes van het champagne ontbijt!!

Great bed Great breakfast

Everything! Breakfast served till midday. Big comfy bed. Free minibar and snacks. Wonderful service from Rachel & Pepijn, even with a baby under 2 months old (ignore those who say Pepijn is a bit dour - he just has an extremely dry sense of humour!). The location is fantastic, no more than 20 minutes walk from the most distant points of interest and with the best bar in Amsterdam (de Bekeerde Suster) just a few doors down. We spent a week here over New Year and it is one of the very best holidays we have ever taken. Can't recommend this place too highly.

Not enough orange juice, Pepijn. Only joking! There was nothing about this hotel we didn't like.

The position within Amsterdam was good. It had a unique decor and a delightfully informal breakfast. Unusually it had a free non alcoholic minibar and a great coffee machine. It was also gloriously warm, very important as Amsterdam was cold and wet!

small rooms, smells terrible in the room like in an old castle, bath room is very old too, breakfast is avarge the one guy tries to accomodate all guest at once. I would not rebook again in particular since it is not cheap.

Comfortable funky room with nibbles & drinks included in room rate. Nice welcome and owners actively involved in business. Good breakfast. A nice relaxed place to stay in the centre of Amsterdam, use of the hotel's own bicycles an added bonus.

Nothing to dislike, its not luxurious but it is comfortable.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and peaceful and in good condition, the included breakfast was very good, and the inclusive mini-bar was a nice touch. Rachel and Pepijn are lovely people!

The location is perfect - a short walk from many of Amsterdam's main attractions and also very close to the Metro station to get to the RAI conference centre quickly. The room was really well designed and very good, with one small exception mentioned below. Everything is provided and the view over the canal was lovely. A comfortable bed and free WiFi. A very good stay - I would come back.

The stairs are very steep - watch out! It was too noisy to sleep with either the windows open or the fan on and pretty stuffy with the windows closed and the fan off. No air conditioning.

Attention to details, location, value for money

We liked family atmosphere in the hotel, friendly staff, the hotel is small with individual approach to all guests. The design of the hotel is nice. The location is great. We liked everything :)

A little nervous about staying here as the reviews were all so good, but it turned out to be perfect. Great location, friendly staff, and comfy bed. Excellent, would recommend it...

You are made to feel very welcome and all help needed is provided. Very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast. The location could not be better. Definitely an hotel for people who do not worry about steep stairs! Not an issue for us but could be for others. Would love to return.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The location was great, right in the middle of all the sites, right on the canal and easy walking distance to all the major attractions. The hotel has a very charming and comfortable atmosphere making it feel like a home away from home. Rachel and Pipijn are very friendly and helpful with tickets and reservations or just to have a nice chat about anything. And they make a delicious breakfast. Next time we return to Amsterdam, we would stay at Misc Eatdrinksleep again. We highly recommend it.
