The sauna was open 24 hours which was especially nice since we stayed in Amsterdam in January & it was rather cold. The facilities were exceptionally clean and staff extremely helpful. The hotel room was cleaned very thoroughly every day and offered a very nice view over the city of Amsterdam. The only minor inconvenience we experienced was the lack of night buses from the city to the hotel. The 15 minute walk from Centraal can be a little disagreeable in winter. During the day, trams go about every 10 to 20 minutes. |

The room was really nice and clean and on the 19th floor we had the chance to have a wonderful view on the sea as well as on the whole city. On 31st December we could see all these fireworks that burnt all night long while cocooning in our room. All the proposed services (wellness, reception) were perfect. Moreover, we had dinner on 31/12 : good food for a reasonable price (35 EUR for a buffet). The price of the parking, but you have the possibility to park your car in a P+R not far from the hotel for a cost of EUR 6 per day, including one hour of common transports (tram or bus) which is much more interesting. |

I well-located hotel with excellent catering services according to truly Swiss standards. Hotel reservations should be more attentive to prior requests for positioning of rooms for parties of over two people in order to enhance the Movenpick experience! The shuttle bus service should be more frequent. |

The exceptionally beautiful view of the city and the river IJ. Early check-in was not possible. Interior is disappointing for a hotel that has only been erected a few years ago. Location is great barring snowfall. |

super location in a super city lack of own parking facilities. 24 hours parking will cost € 48,00 (parking garage is owned by municipality of Amsterdam) and prices are ridiculous |

I was happy with the room which had a great view. The staff in the bar were too few so service was poor and the service at the function I was there to attend was terrable. It began at 7.30 and only got to the desert course after 10. The after dinner tea/caffee did not arrive at all. |

Comfortable, modern, spacious rooms in a convenient location near Central Station Over priced and insufficient tea/coffee making facilities in room, in fact there was no "normal" tea at all, not even on request |

The access to the city centre via the hotel shuttle to the train station is a nice feature. As a suggestion it would be a nice touch to have umbrellas in the lobby that guest could borrow. |

An excellent and safe location, especially for those driving into Amsterdam looking for safe parking thazt costs about 48 euros a day. Panoramic location with very professional staff. A good start to a visit of Holland. The hotel should really have a swimming pool. |

Location: close enough to city center and not crowed. Big rooms and big hotel generally speaking: not really saturated with people even at peak periods -exception: breakfast Nice and modern design but ugly works of art. Filthy room not well taken care of: careless room-service and no vacumm cleaning at all. Over-busy staff specially at breakfast time. Breakfast restaurant not properly serviced: always missing food. |

New looking hotel with great views, relatively convenient to city centre. Comfortable, large rooms. Breakfast was a debacle. Hundreds of people, and having to wait for a table to be available. Staff did their best but just overwhelmed. Food kept running out. Let the hotel down. |

Nice moden hotel above the passenger terminal <10 min work from the Central station. I have standard room and it is spacious with modern deco. Staff is efficient but not very friendly. But that my impression for the whole trip. |

the panoramic views were spectacular, good idea how Amsterdam is going to Previous reliable information for parking. the location though-not bad for us, because we were traveling with own bikes, there was no possibilities to park our car in the area and we had to spend a lot o money on the garage, too much. Good if prior info on that |
