Breakfast was good, free internet, great location, ac, room ready upon arrival ( 13h )

The location,staff & room
Comfortable bed Great location buffet breakfast ok
Staff are so rude and it's apparent from other reviews other people think the same. Not ideal for young couple, very patronising and kept asking for out room number every time we was leaving the hotel, made us feel like we shouldn't of been there. On arrival, because I didn't bring the card I booked it with, made me pay again!! All in all I wouldn't advise a young couple to stay here, felt like they didn't really like young couples there and we're also very rude towards us. Not worth the money stay somewhere else and get a better deal/ experience for your money
Location right next to the train station suited us perfectly. Breakfast was pretty good.
Rooms quite small, but not an issue for us.
We booked really last minute on a busy weekend when there was a festival so we paid a little more but that was expected. We got in pretty late on a Friday but reception was there and extremely friendly and willing to help us with our basic enquiries. Theres 24h reception and no matter the time (we got back pretty late both nights, 5 and 7), he greeted us with a smile. In the morning we missed check out so we got woken up at 1120 and the got a door knock at 1140 that was not very friendly but i guess that was expected too. Overall, its not the Ritz, but if you just want a bed, its amazingly central and provides a bed with good wifi and friendly staff, id definitely come back for a weekend trip.
The toilet smelled a little bit, but i think its because its an old building that has bad sewerage. With the bathroom door closed it was fine. The pillows were pretty uncomfortable and the beds were short and really soft in some area, but as i said, you don't expect the ritz.
I asked the previous night for a taxi at 5:10 in the morning but when I went to reception nothing was booked. they then called for a taxi and a mini-van arrived (higher charge)
Arrives at the hotel at 10.15am and the man at reception had us a room within 30 mins.we were given tea and breakfast in the dinning area, no charge even though we were not covered for food that day. Fantastic location within walking distance of trains trams buses boats ...couldn't ask for more. Bed was unreal ...so comfortable. All the staff were really helpful. I would definate stay here again
The location and comfort of hotel
Staff were pretty rude
Everything about this hotel and staff makes it a top choice stay in a city where many are sub standard & rip off. Can't fault it & never look any further nowadays !
Near to amsterdan centraal station and walking distance to dam square. Also many choice of food and shopping area at proximity distance drom the hotel
The Location was great, the facilities basic and functional. The early check in and being able to leave our cases to be collected later when we checked was great.
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, there were hairs in the bath.
The comfort of bed and pillows
Location, Free Wifi, Friendly Staff and helpful. Requested a room in the quite area of the hotel and got just that. Thank You
Pillow sheets didn't look clean
we have stayed in room 234 between13-15 FEB 15, the room was small but worst than that the smell coming from toilet was very annoying, location, staff and breakfast was ver good.
The hotel was warm and centrall
The manager refused to change the dates of our booking. Request made due to family illness. Appreciate we did not pay the extra for nthis service but felt he could have beeb compassionate in the circumstances
The bathroom was a good size and very clean Location is brilliant
The wardrobe was ridiculously small considering it was a room for two people
Great location Breakfast ok
Matress of the bed Cleaniness Thin walls
The location was realy central to everything
The rooms could have been cleaner+ the maid didnt realy do a very good job making the beds cleaning the room e.t.c
Location, decent breakfast
First off our room stunk of sewage. The beds were uncomfortable, the sheets were like sand paper. Internet was not working in the morning. It was the sewage smell from the bathroom that was a real turn off. We will not stay there again.
So much noisy!! Everything was excellent, unless the noise of doors, people talking and some equipment (I don't know if was the heater) which doesn't stop. Seems that someone was knocking the door all the time.
Great Location. Free safe in your room, free wifi in your room. Also, rooms were cleaned with fresh towels everyday. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.
-The location was great! Near downtown, near the train station it was never far to get to. -The free Wifi was excellent. Was fast, took several devices at once, gave us no problems. -Awesome hot water in the showers! -Nice that the desk controls the front door. They are conscious of everyone that goes in or out of the hotel. -Mini Bar prices were good
-If you are a coffee connoisseur, drink tea while your here. -The windows are not sound proof for the heavy noise outside. We heard all the cars and boat horns, the trains breaking, their station announcements and heated arguments on the streets below at night. This was the biggest problem. No peace in the room, ever. -Don't expect the cleaning crew to do much during your stay. -If you love super soft beds, this is the place for you. Trying to get out of them is like exiting a rubber boat on water. -Breakfast was generic, but who cares. -Ps, watch out for pot smokers on "No Smoking" floors, the rules don't seem to apply to them.
