Best Western Apollo Museumhotel Amsterdam City Centre

The location was quite good, not very far from the centre and close to hotel were nice restaurants and pubs.

The parking near hotel is quite complicated - especially when you park on the street and need to pay to the machine only with coins. That is why it would be great if the hotel would offer some help with the parking -change money for coins or the hotel could pay directly through chipknip and the guest then pay to hotel...

The staff was really friendly. They were really trying to help. Room was very clean.

Great location, nice view. My room was great, very comfortable. After reading the reviews I learned that all the rooms were very small. So, I paid the highest rate and asked for the best room they had available and I got it. I loved looking out my windows at the beautiful city of Amsterdam every day.

They had no concierge and no bell hops, which would have made a big difference I think. Although I had no problems, because I paid for a nicer room, my friends had many problems and had to switch rooms several times. The rooms were definitely very small. Even my double room might have been inadequate had I not been alone.

It was close to the tram, museums and food. The service staff were very polite and helpful.

The AC did not heat the room despite being set on "warm" and +28 degrees. The lift was slow, which may not sound like a bad thing but it got annoying after a while. Although the room was big the bathroom was very small. We were in a room a long way from reception so we had problems receiving wifi.

Location; walking distance from the key museums & entertainment & restaurans. Calm area with easy access to the town center.

Previously undeclared city tax. We stayed at another hotel nearby for three nights and there was no such additional charge. I presume they included the tax in the pre-paid cost of the room, and I suggest you do the same

All around excellent.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as it seemed rather expensive.

I got a really tiny room in the basement next to the working rooms of the hotel staff. Its ok to sleep but I wouldn't want to spend any more time in that room. I felt a bit cheated. Even though I had been offered a special last minute rate by booking.com, this is a room you would normally not want to put guests in.

The thing I liked more in this hotel was its new and modern installacions with all conveniences I needed.

Staff were friendly, gave geat advice on local eats. Room was new, modern & clean. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent location, we really enjoyed our stay & would come back again.
