Best Western Apollo Museumhotel Amsterdam City Centre    

Location. Value for money.

Adjacent to Rijkmuseum and to many other museums in Amsterdam. With a quick walk you are in the City Centre.

Lilliputzian room. No facility in the room. No hotel parking, no hotel parking deals, nor (reasonable price) similar parking facilities in the surroundings. Expensive, but every hotel is expensive in Amsterdam!

Considering the room was a double, it was very small ! no hairdrier or tea making facilities

Ideal location for the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Concertgebouw.

The breakfast Room doubles as the bar during the day; not ideal.

My single room had everything I needed, but it was rather cramped.

The hotel location is great, near the holland casino and leidsplaine is 5 minutes walk

The room was very very very !!small Only bad and small desk not enough space to move. Charged for taxes during the departure of EUR 30! 8 euros per day

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff were helpful and friendly.

For €200 I thought the room was very small. I booked what I thought was a bigger room but they must have used some serious wide angle lenses in the pictures. Not sure what the normal room would look like. Also I think it's a small gesture to put a kettle and some coffee and tea in the room.

Perfectly situated for the museums and a large number of restaurants within 10 mins walk.

The attitude of the staff. The location of the Hotel. The system of booking & upgrading.

The non smoking. The entrance does not match the lobby, people see the entrance & decide that the hotel is small, but that is not the case. There should be bath tub, as option.

Service was very good, the Staff was very friendly, since the beginning resrvations manager Angali Sharma was very kind and very helpful with our boking and additional information provided to us.

Although rooms are very nice, bathroooms doors could be more hermetic in order to provide more privacy.

I liked the friendliness of the staff. They were nice.

At the first day we were told that we could get in at 14:00, while it was not possible at that time. Only two hours later the rooms were free and cleaned for us. The second thing that was not in order; we complained about an obvious bump in the bed, which prevented us from a good night sleep. It was promised to us that it would be fixed that day, on the day. But, it was not finished by the time we came back in the room at 02:00. We went to the reception and at that time they could not do anything anymore, since the hotel was fully booked. They compensated us with a free breakfast, but it was still disappointing.

On arrival we were allocated a basement bedroom,which was NOT what we expected. We complained and eventually we were allocated a satisfactoryroom.Apoor start to our city break.

My room didn't smell very nice and was at street level so I had footsteps by my window. The reception was always really busy and I often had to wait 5 minutes to speak to someone.

Location. Very good if you want a quite place. Besides it's very close to Ruks museum. I like staff at the reception and restaurant very much. All people I met were really nice, positive and helping.

The wc and towels in the room could be cleaner. The room is really small.

The hotel is centrally located. Most tram lines are a just a short walk away and it's a only 20 min tram ride to the train station. Rijks Museum is half a block away. The designer shopping street starts directly behind the hotel. There is a very nice park only 2-3 min walk.

The hotel is a bit overpriced. Maybe because it's the tulip season but I thought the price was high.

Staff very helpful and changed room right away when we complained a out the smell in our first allocated room . Second room was good and more spacious and no nasty smells. Quiet at night. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about trips and getting around Amsterdam.

Long wait to check out at 11.00 whilst people were checking in.

Going out of the hotel to get to the room. Basic breakfast menu selection but it was OK.

Very small room located below ground level. Cleaning staff were extremely noisy in the morning. Hallway noise and street noise was unbearable.
