I got a really tiny room in the basement next to the working rooms of the hotel staff. Its ok to sleep but I wouldn't want to spend any more time in that room. I felt a bit cheated. Even though I had been offered a special last minute rate by booking.com, this is a room you would normally not want to put guests in. |

room was small but clean and had everything needed. The bathroom was of a very high standard and the location was great. it took over 30 mins to check in. they could probably use some more staff at peak times. |

The position was fabulous, it was located besides the Rijtsmuseum and very close to the Van Gogh, there are also shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was small, but modern and functional. Free Wifi throughout the hotel (sometimes a bit slow),and they also had free internet in the lobby. If I return to Amsterdam, I would choose to stay there again. The breakfast looked fabulous but at 17.50 euros, a bit too expensive. However, I think they are addressing this issue. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, always full of smiles and willing to go the extra mile. Very modern decor and designed to use a small space maximally in the rooms. Free Wi-Fi for real. Excellent bathroom fixtures and design, the bathroom was a pleasure to spend time in. Not center of town, but minutes walk to transit, and maybe a 15-20 minute walk to center of town. And for an excellent rate. Feels like a 5 star big hotel, but in a small, friendly package. The reviews can't reflect the pleasure this hotel is. |

The hotel staff was really great and very friendly. They also offer free internet service in the lobby which was great. The only drawback I could find was the price of breakfast. It was high, but the breakfast was good. |

Good location - close to public transport. Rooms are a bit small, but I knew it before booking a room. Modern bathroom. Reception staff are friendly and helpfull. Although there aren't any coffee / tea making facilities in the room, I asked reception and they gave me a coffee machine with coffee bags, milk and sugar at no charge! I really appreciated this. Nothing, I enjoyed my stay. |

Location. Price. Cleanliness of room. Size of the room. It was tiny! We were two people (friends) who requested two twin beds. The beds were tiny. There was no room for us to put our suitcases (could not even walk around the bed properly). Although, some friends stayed there (I booked both rooms at the same time) and these people were given a larger room. So ask at reception before checking in. Breakfast was not included. But we preferred the local bagel places anyway... |

Very good location, Near the Leidseplein which is an excellent place to be at. The Hotel looks very nice and new. The bed wasn't so comfortable. It was new but a bit back breaking. The room is small but for us it wasn't a problem because we didn't stay in most of the day. |

The location was ok. We arrived at 9am to be told that the room would not be ready till 2pm that day. We went back at 2pm and given a very very small room next to reception desk, we asked to exchange for a bigger one and was given one without a bath, which I specifically wanted. One of the staff was arrogant and unhelpful, the guy with the glasses behind the desk, the Blonde girl was very nice and helpful and friendly. He was very arrogant and unfriendly. The pictures on booking.com made the room look much bigger than they actually are, I want one of those magic cameras as they make things look amazing! |

It was quite good for shopping and there were lots of places to eat in the area. We were treated very bad at check in and we could not avail of our room until 5.30pm. They said this was due to an IT issue but they were giving out the same excuse to newly arriving guests the following day. Also, we were given a tiny room with single beds when we had booked a double room. We had to complain to get moved. Well after 6pm before we could shower etc. |

Well located near the city centre & museums. Single rooms were compact but well equipped, Beautifully designed en-suite shower rooms. Clearly a lot of money hd been spent refurbishing the hotel relatively recently. Basement room near foyer was a bit noisy. Breakfast really overpriced at 17.50 euros; found a good cafe nearby instead. |
