Location. The owner was friendly and pleasant to discuss the area with. Had we known she was the owner before she left we would have voiced our complaints to her

Our floor was listed as a non-smoking floor, but in the room directory it offer those who wished to smoke an ashtray for the nominal fee of 25 Euro. I rooms always smelled like smoke. Every picture of a room on the website shows a tub in the bath. We had two rooms, neither with a bath. We felt mislead or at the very least under informed.

Location is excellent. Breakfast good and relatively inexpensive. Windows open for great ventilation. Almost all staff very friendly and helpful.

Wifi @ 10 euro per 24 hours was unuasable in our room, but they took the charges off the bill.

This is one wonderful boutique hotel with winding steps and an elevator! Staff incredible. Morning breakfast a delight ... across from hotel l'europa so very easy to find . You can walk everywhere -- 3 bridges down to the left 3 blocks in Dam square. only sour point was the miserable internet -- they refunded my money and will hopefully continue with their plans to replace the current 'service' make it free and run it themselves. there is free internet at the coffee shop across the street

Internet - speed was like 300 baud dialup . they were not happy either

internet did not work and we were given a double instead of the twin because the hotel had overbooked.

Great location overlooking a canal and a fairly quiet area. Breakfast facilities quite basic and not included in the price of the room. I would stay here again as the location is superb only 10 mins walk from Dam square.

Lift very old and slow and the fact breakfast was not included.

Good location, 10 min walk from Dam Square and less than 1 min walk from Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square) a location packed full of various hotels, bars and cafés. The hotel is also near tram lines to Dam Square and Central Station.

No bar :-(

Location is very good, 10 minutes walk from Central Station, going by the canals.

Good location - very close to city center, all sightseeings and flower market. Ive got a room with a view to the channel and it was really nice. Every morning white swans floated. Room was small, bed occupied almost all space, but it was enough for me along. The bathroom was quite big - almost the same size as the room. Room was cleaned very good. Bathroom equipment and all stuff in a room are in a good state.

At nights sometimes was very noisy at streets and everything was heard at room. Also it was heard whats happened in next room.

The rooms are small and very noisy. We stayed in the annex first and were moved to a room in the hotel. Very expensive for the quality of the room
