The food whatever we ordered over the 2 days stay was the best weve ever had.hotel staff were very helpful on local matters.where to go where to park! The restaurent staff very polite and made things go along very smoothly.i think there english vercabulary was a lot better than mine.great stay at the new york Parking is exspensive if you dont know about it.be prepared to pay 22 euros a day

Very nice and helpful/forthcoming staff in a nice, original, setting. Rotterdam en Rotterdam Harbour is an excellent backdrop for this - with the subway easily connected to large parts of the city.

The hotel is in the old Holland America headquarters which has been repurposed as a hotel. We liked the unique style of the hotel. Also, since we were sailing the next day on Holland America's Rotterdam, the hotel's location accross from the cruise terminal was perfect. We were able to see the Rotterdam in the morning before we sailed from the hotel.The room was very comfortable and the walking and public transportation access was good for sightseeing. There is a lift from the registration level to the rooms. However there is a fairly steep staircase to get to the front door and then up to the desk. This could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

This hotel has a proximity to the cruise ship terminal that allowed us to walk over, request assistance from a porter, and saved time and money when making a transfer from hotel to ship The location was outside the city centre, to the degree that it did curtail some exploring and shopping

The location is excellent with fantastic views across the rivet. The food wasn't very good and the service was abysmal. Also the rooms although very stylish didn't offer many extra'S. No double beds on offer in the hotel only twins so not a romantic place to stay!

Lots of room.... not these broom closets for rooms one sometimes sees in European hotels. Internet was free, fast and reliable. (I pass on hotels without free internet... no excuse for that today). Nice amenities. Breakfast should be included in the rate. I don't appreciate a price of 17.50 euro for breakfast, which I declined. (I ate at a restaurant near the Metro station). Had a nice view of the parking lot and I could pick out the make and model of every car. The location is a bit out of the way, but I didn't have any troubles finding it on Bing Maps "birds eye" view, where I discovered it was near the Wilhelminaplein metro station. But, had I not hunted down the location information, I would have never known by their website or Booking.com. You should be clearer on this topic.

Located within walking distance of Holland America dock. The wireless email worked well. There was no way to avoid steps to enter the hotel so luggage had to be carried up/down at least 10 steps.
