I thought the room was rather small for 175 euro and the shower knob was very inconvenient. The lady at the desk did not know for sure about the public parking situation. Pro: They are very attentative on glutenfree food.
I put that above too
the receptionist the food
Thin walls/doors. Could hear cleaning maids as if they were in my room.
Comfy beds Nice bath
Very expensive Bar Rooms didnt get cleaned on saturday as they didnt make it around to 5pm
Very convenient location to reach Amsterdam. well organized bathroom.
It was really difficult to adjust air conditioning for good sleep.
Some rooms has a bath tab could make us relax. The room was very clean and cosy. You could enjoy free coffee.
The nearest station of the tram was like 10 - 15 minutes walk, which is a 20 minutes ride from national museum. Not much place to eat around.
Location not convenient
Price not high
If you get over the fact it's a good 15 minute walk to the tram stop (tram 5) I actually liked the distance (the exercise gave me an excuse to go wild with my food and not feel guilty) it's in a nice quiet area and the rooms are big and modern with a lovely bathroom and a big flat screen tv with free wifi!! Checking in and out was simple!! the only real criticism is that there was some scruff marks on the walls and floors (perhaps from suitcases) so a little more attention to detail is needed (if your being picky) but overall quality hotel for the price and I would definitely stay here again
The location is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room smells fresh snd clean.
When checking in asking for a credit card and pocessing the card for a holding deposit. I used a different card to pay when checking out, three days later the holding deposit has not been credited back into my account. It has cost me two overseas call and I'm still waiting.
Room decor was colourful contemporary design and the staff were excellent even recommending a day out to Hoorn which was fab- real Netherlands! Love the Dutch people too - they are very respectful of others!
The smell of cannabis in Amsterdam
Size of the room, closeness to the park, easy access when coming in to town.
Distance from tram (misleading), apparent free coffee (not flagged-couldn't work out how to get any), iced machines in the corridors(no cups in the machine).
The receptionist, Diana in name I believe, is rude. She never smiles nor is patient. We arrived early and was told room is not ready but can pay 25 euro/night more for executive room and we paid for that. It turns out the so-called executive room is the same as normal room except for an expresso machine and a bath. The next day, the cups in my room were not cleaned/replaced. expresson capsule used were not replaced either. We were in a business trip and didnt not have the time to complain. BUT THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD WHEN BOOKING VIA BOOKING.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very modern hotel with large bright room. Located in quiet residential area with large park and close to a shopping centre. Close to Amsterdam Suid mainline station to Schipol Airport.
Rather far from a tram stop and rather far from the city centre.
Unless you are have meetings in the business district or exhibiting at RAI or want to be close to the airport, its worth the stay
The room was comfortable and the receptionist on departure was fine
The receptionist on arrival was impatient and a little rude to me.
Could not open the window of my room. I hate this !
quite a bit outside the town in a residentail area. breakfast pretty expensive
Nice, big, clean and modern rooms. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Ideal location when visiting VU/VUMC
Access to the internet was very complicated and had to be renewed every 24 hours. Also, if you wanted a good connection, you had to pay. That should just be part of the prize in a hotel of this standard.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable and room was in good condition. The lady at Room Service was nice
Reception staff unfriendly and not helpful at all, worst check in i ever had, the staff was more interested in overselling packages than telling me what was in the Hotel. Among other things I asked for sleepers and the answer is that i have to pay 25 euro extra for a executive room, because in the standard one they do not give (4 star hotel giving you this answer). RS menu after 10pm is left with 5 things, they dont even make you a sandwich. Absolutely nothing to do around the Hotel, need to take a tram for 25 min to the city center to see some life, etc. etc. Overall, horrible experience, might be ok for business but forget it for leisure.
Very slow internet connection. Very high currency exchange rate at the hotel
The hotel was great and the staff were awesome! Everything was very clean and modern. There were coffee machines with a wide selection of teas on most of the floors in the morning with fresh lemon water in the afternoon. The nature reserve that was a couple of blocks away was beautiful and a nice peaceful reprieve from the hustle of downtown. The hotel is quite close to public transit as well, which is good if you are looking to go downtown.
The breakfast selection was great but a bit overpriced at €17 per person.
Right in the Jewish neighborhood. There are two kosher restaurants across the street and a kosher grocery. There is a beautiful nature reserve along the river about 2 blocks away. It is a short very pleasant walk to public transport. Bathrooms were very nice and free toiletries were excellent. The lobby was pleasant and the news was showing on the bar TV. They rent bikes and answered our questions.
Computer in common area was too expensive for just 20 minutes.
Facilities and room size. Very clean bathroom.
Very far from city centre
