It was well situated.

The carpets are very dirty and there is a terrrible smell especially in the bathroom. View from room no. 139 is very disappointing. There were holes in the bed sheets. Needs better sound proofing.

Comfortable bed, centrally located, not too noisy if you ask for a quiet room.

A 20 Euro breakfast that is way too expensive. 5 Euros for a glass of beer in th bar. WiFi only free in the lobby. Outrageously expensive at Trade Fair time (over 300 Euros a night for a standard double) but all hotels in Amsterdam raise their prices by 250% on such occasions. At other moments, probably quite good value.

Excellent location. Very convenient to restaurants, trams, buses, some shops. Excellent housekeeping (rooms very clean).

4 big problems: 1) Staff was very inexperienced for a hotel of this price & category. They had difficulty answering even very simple questions. 2) Old-fashioned TVs with very poor resolution in the rooms. 3) Very uncomfortable beds. 4) The fitness club cost 15 euros per visit -- and it was very small. I travel for business in Europe every week and I have never (ever) paid to use my own hotel's fitness club.

Great location, hotel clean, rooms big and comfortable

- Staff was not always polite!! Wifi in lobby was horrific, if you want to give it for free then make it really free, don't ask us to enter a stupid password every 30 minutes, a password which doesn't always work. You either offer or don't offer wifi, but this was somewhere in the middle and a total nightmare.

The Location is impressive nearby most of the exiting areas and also quit and desent.

I did not like the fact that My Credit Card was debited a total of 800 Euros, while my Total Invoice was only 737.41 Euros. Please check your accounts against my billing, Why could thing like this happen you should credit me the difference of (62.59) Euros. Unfortunately I discovered this mistake after leaving the Hotel to the airport and I trust you should refund the extras. Thanks in advance.

Small rooms

Location and the hotel staff were excellent.

There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom(room 325),it wasn't overpowering,but it was there none the less.We only stayed for one night(new years eve) so it wasn't a big deal as we weren't in the room much. I informed the hotel staff who very helpful and professional and they told me they would look into it straight away. I would definitely stay here again as I only see this as a minor problem that was addressed immediately. Location was excellent as were the staff.

Excellent location for the centre of Amsterdam. Close to lots of restaurants and four tram lines stop nearby the hotel.Couldn't wish for a better hotel or location.
