Lift did not work to level 6, room (601) had a smell of sewerage that was unpleasant, also alot of noise from the lift shaft next door.

The Location is excellent, just close to the central station and to all kind of public transports like tram, boat. My room was in the back of the hotel facing a street with several bars. During all night there was too noisy and I hardly could sleep before 6am The sound isolation of the room is bad. I really suggest to everyone that comes to this hotel to ask an interior room instead of a room with street view.

Very good location, close to most of popullar places. Everything is additional cost in this hotel. Expensive breakfast, expensive car park, expensive Internet connection. They always charge money for something. Be careful when you choose this hotel. Your total bill will be double or more.

Great location for a trip to the central city of Amsterdam Staff were friendly and answered all questions well, provided helpful tourist information Rooms were of good size, clean and conforatable The rooms that we were in did not have windows that opened. The temperature in the room was a constant 24 degrees which was uncomfortably hot, both by day and night. After discussion it turned out that this could not be modified. As a family of 5 with teenage children we needed 2 rooms so the cost was high compared to other similar accommodation that we stayed in that could accommodate as a family (without the heating issues)

Nh Barbizon Palace was an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. On arrival we were offered a free upgrade to an appartment from a room. The apartment was spacious, clean and in a brilliant location for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful and catered for any request. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Amsterdam.

Well located and convenient. Happy with final room. Reception staff v welcoming. Not really living up to stars On arrival our room was v smelly. Smoking smell even though a non-smoking room. The reception changed us to a much better room but we had to accept a smaller bed. The breakfast was v expensive so ate outside hotel. Oveall it was ok but if we had not been given a change of room we would have been suing for our money back. The excellentreceptionists saved our holiday. Thankyou to them.

Location Old rooms, not what I expected for that price. And the parkingfee, almost 50 euro, way to much. So it was not a good experience for me and my daughter.

Liked the location and was very close to the train station across the road. Great restaurants close. Would recommend Did not like the Gym charges and though this might have been included.

The location of the hotel was great it is across the road from the city central station (Trains, Trams and Buses) Facilities around the hotel Very nice reception Friendly Staff Comfortable rooms The rooms are too far from the elevators. Two beds put next to each other rather than king size beds carpet and lighting were a bit old Like most hotels you get shower gels but no loofahs or sponge
