The dramatic modernist exterior is in stark contrast to the more subdued elegance of the interior spaces. The charming, spacious curving lobby area with its neutral tones and wood panelling promotes a welcoming atmosphere. The grand staircase ascends past original Dutch oil paintings to a bright and airy breakfast room with adjoining balcony which overlooks the Rembrandtplein. The informal ambience and stylish decoration provides an attractive environment in which guests can begin their day.

The hotel also provides modern facilities for the business guest with its three Meeting/Banquet rooms on-site with the largest accommodating 120 people.

The amenities at the Nearby Fitness Centre can be enjoyed by the guest at a discounted rate. Facilities include an 800 square metre gym, sauna, steam room and spinning classes.

central location and interior style

A 4 star rated hotel in such a central position should have suitable sound proofing/ double glazing. The location is the attraction but it is also a disadvantage if sleeping becomes interupted by outside noise.

The location!!!

Rooms are a little small and there is no window or extractor in the bathroom,when having a shower it completey steams up and the floor was soaked,the shower screen was a little too small..

The Superior Room was pretty big

Location, the noise from the local club could be heard until 3 AM. Even though we placed our room service order on our door handle well before the 3AM cutoff, they never took our order and we never got our food.

In very convenient postion, close to all major attractions & lots of eating places around hotel

Only minor, but there was some noise which I think was coming from the kitchen and also some music from the pub under the hotel

clean rooms and centrally located

very unhelpful and rude reception staff. the door to my room was broken so did not lock was told there was no other room and the door could not be fixed for two days. was not awareof the very noisy club located nearby. also the price i was quoted was not the final price we had to pay and was not made aware of the 50 euro deposit for the rooms

Good toiletries, staff helpful, hotel offers choice of pillows, central location

Room was an upgrade and was clean, a fair size but still not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I asked if the room was a quiet room and was told it was. The windows could be better glazed to stop more of the street noise as it is in a busy area with lots of restaurants and bars.

the rooms were just as pictured on the internet , the quality of the toiletries were very high , and the staff were friendly, the breakfast room was being decorated so we didnt dine, but felt that 18 euro a head was exp for breakfast, we would reccommend this hotel to friends old and young . we picked this hotel as a friend of mine stayed there before and spoke well of it,

Well when we arrived at the hotel, they told us that we could not stay there as it was overbooked, which i did not take lightly, we were moved to the NH Doelan hotel around the corner and all the points above are in realtion to that hotel.

Hotel Dolean was just beautiful
