L'NH Doelen es troba en un edifici del segle XVII situat a la riba del riu Amstel, a Amsterdam, a 10 minuts a peu de la plaça del Dam. L'hotel disposa d'habitacions clàssiques, recepció 24 hores i Wi-Fi gratuïta a les zones comunes. Les habitacions presenten una decoració d'estil clàssic i trets originals. Els clients poden gaudir d'una beguda del minibar o preparar-se una tassa de te o de cafè. Així mateix, les habitacions disposen d'escriptori i de TV per cable. L'hotel és cèlebre per haver estat el lloc on Rembrandt va pintar la "Ronda de nit". Trobareu pastís de poma i cafè al saló i podreu aprofitar els serveis de rentatge en sec i els estris per planxar. El Bloemenmarkt (Mercat de les Flors) i la plaça de Rembrandt se situen a menys de 5 minuts a peu. Excellent hotel in a great location with highly professional, charming staff, who found me a room for my second night and arranged a late departure. Pity the rates don't include breakfast, which as an extra is expensive - even by Amsterdam standards! Nevertheless, the NH Doelen remains my favourite Amsterdam hotel and I will undoubtedly stay there again. Expensive breakfast - see above.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the NH Doelen. The Hotel is very central and we had a lovely big room overlooking the canals. The hotel is within walking distance of many attractions. It was also close to trams buses etc.The room was clean, bright , spacious and the bed was oh soooo comfortable. The young lady who booked us in was just lovely. She was friendly, efficient and very pleasant. She did all she could to help us get the most from our stay. We had come to Amsterdam to visit the Floriade and she even took time out to help us booking transport to the Show on-line. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay at NH Doelen.

The location is wonderful. Staff was nice, friendly. The hotel is a bit run down and tired. Elevator is too slow. Rooms need to be renovated. Carpet is old, bed is too soft, etc... It just looks a bit tired. Also, I had problems with the water in the shower. The temperature would change quickly. It would go suddenly very hot and then very cold.

Was great location but no breakfast included which was a shame. Room cleaned daily but didnt replenish toilet rolls. Overall good stay and hotel was clean. You are paying for good location which I feel is most important. Would stay again.

Thank you for the free extra bed, extra towel and soap. excellent I think this hotel need renovation, the window have to with double Glass, not single glass because i still can feel the cold wind from outside in the windy day.

Single room size of a cell the bed was to small to roll over,asked for up grade charged 30 euro per night even though hotel nearly empty. The rooms are very dated tv a old type no money put back in hotel, Living on a past repution will not be back.

Old atmosphere, and location. We got a big bathroom with a window. Staff. Teapot and tea-things are ok. Rooms definitely need a renovation (furniture and wallpapers in poor condition). Air in the room was a bit dusty (old carpet I suppose) - not good for allergic people. Also beds are too soft. Cabinet and shower were broken, they fixed it next day after my chek-in, then it was ok. Annoying noise from the street (and canal view only for extra 30 EUR per night).

Grand building (and therefore no steep steps) and a lift located in the heart of Amsterdam between the centraal station and the leidseplien, just north of Rembrandtplien, a great location. Bed was very soft and the rooms we had were not air-conditioned, but these issues were expected and did not affect our experience.

The hotel (as a building) is great, personal very kind and helpful. The location is excellent, nice and quiet zone for Amsterdam. The rooms and the interiour need inprovement, also are too small for a 4 star hotel. The bed is too soft.
