Not a nice experience over all. The only stromg point of the hotel is the position, very close to Red Light District, 15 minutes walk from the Central Train Station. The rooms are very small, old furniture but not clasic, the hotel was not renovated for a very long time. The description of the hotel says there are also Double beds in the rooms but when we arrived there they said they only have rooms with twin beds. Strong unpleasent smell, even in the non smoking rooms. We moved one of the two beds and we saw there was no cleaning lately under it. |

the location and size of room with a lovely view Breakfast was a high cost - and I thought this was going to be included from email comunication as an Anniversary weekend however it was not. Having said that we did enjoy trying out different restaurants Dont go to the Sport Bar breakfast is a sham cold undercooked and staff expect a tip.. |

I arrived with my printed reservation and they couldn't honour because theu were overbooked. After a big fight they gave me a disgusting room at a discount.I was exausted coming from Tokyo. It was a memorable experience They need to change the front desk people and to manage the business as a hotel and not a brothel. |

It was very warm (as we stayed at winter time), good location, silence street, beautiful building with very fashionable staircase. The rooms needs to be newly painted. |

I particularly liked the old character of the Hotel. I was surprised that some guests thought it needed a make over since its age and character is part of the charm. lovely winding staircase and stained galss windows. room was cleaned, staff are friendly, ok, rooms are small - but they all are in Amsterdam. This is a great hotel and great value. boken shower needs fixing |

Central location, but that's it... Rooms are small, the beds are too soft, and everything is dusty (definitely nothing for allergic people). Whole Hotel could need a face lifting. To sum it up: definiteyl NO 4 star. You're better off with 3star ones in A'dam. |

Location and staff were excellent. Asked for a spacious room on an upper floor and they obliged without hesitation. Room was a bit tired and could probably do with being refurbished. |

Everything great, great location (10 min walk to DAM), nice staff The rooms need redecorating, one evening there was no light in the room but it was quickly fixed. A bit noisy in the street downstairs. |
