the staff is very nice, the position in the city is excellent It is very old and not nice. The furniture needs to be replaced, bathroom dosn't correspond for a 5 star hotel, the windows are very bad - i couldn't sleep because of noise in the street. |

I read that there was a jacuzzi in the hotel, when we asked a member of staff where it was he said there is no such thing. I was not told of anything about a deposit, we had to take our deposit out of our spending money for the weekend this was an awful lot being we had 2 rooms for 2 nights. We then had to budget for the weekend due to this. I was deeply annoyed by this!! |

The location, very central. Poor breakfast service the first morning due to hotel event which meant that we had to rush breakfst and be out quickly. I complained to the hotel and the breakfast was refunded and we were offered tea, coffee etc.Disliked the room. Whilst it was spacious and had a separate lounge area it was dark and dingey, up a funny stair case. Not what I expected for the cost of the room. |

Very good location right on Dam Square. A very straight forward 10 minute walk to Central Station Breakfast was expensive, even by Amsterdam Hotel standards |
