Great place. The staff were friendly, helpful and competent. The room was comfortable with nice convenient details. Excellent location. Lovely building. I will definitely go back. Somewhere to hang coats and things would be nice. It's a drag having to use the wardrobe for this. |

Exceptionally nice staff. Very comfortable. Perfect location. The best hotel I've stayed at in Amsterdam. Will definitely come back. Internet wifi ridiculously expensive. Why not just add a small sum and make the wifi network available for the whole stay? Another small thing; the room was a little bit cold. Tried to turn the heat up, but it didn't help much. |

We arrived and the room we were shown to had not been made up so we were immediately given an upgrade. Our room was at the front of the hotel which meant that we were disturbed by music from the disco next door and noisy building work that is currently being carried out in the square opposite. |

It was close to everything. Also the room was very nicely designed, large and had a lovely view. The room was too warm it needed air conditioning or at least a fan. |

Wonderful location and a beautiful building. 1) At the check in they ask you to fill in an extremely long form with redundant information, which is annoying, the majority of other hotels do not ask you to waste your time. 2) The beds were producing very ugly sounds and the linen had small holes --- not too bad, but certainly not a 4 star quality. |

The location was great for anyone interested in really getting to know Amsterdam close-up and on foot. It was easy to get immersed in the Dutch culture. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly. The brasserie was a wonderful place for enjoying great food at a liesurely pace. It could get noisy, especially when the weather was warm and we needed to open the windows. But this is a small price to pay for really getting close to Amsterdam's people, culture, and social scene. |

Despite me turning up early they were able to find me a room to check into, the room was very clean and in a great location looking out on the square. For no apparrant reason when coming back late at night my room key wouldnt work, and the person on reception did resolve it pretty quickly though. |

very helpful staff and speak without being spoken too. enthusiastic is what i would call it. rooms were clean and asked for coffee etc to be topped up which was carried out within 20mins with a smile. will go there again, thanking you for a plesant stay |

Staff was friendly, room was big, nice location and excellent access to public transport. As I heard my colleagues stayed at even worse 4stars... Cleaning was poor, thermoisolation on windows non-existent, something was usually forgotten of the bathroom accessories, heating turned off, breakfast buffet was monotonous |

Central location. Very nice "night life" area around. All major city attractions are easily approachable. The hotel staff is friendly and effective. Breakfast in the hotel is too expensive. Can be found at half price in the nearby cafe. |

The helpfullness of the staff member at the desk. We arrived in the evening and had to leave early for the airport the next day ( before hotel shuttle was available). She was helpful with tram and train information. The television in the room did not work. |
