The stuff on the reception was really helpful, especially the girl. If I were in the shoues of hotel owners I would immediately invite her to work in my hotel: it's unbelieveble how she could manage radly managable things! 1. Expensive breakfast 2. Broken PC in the lobby 3. Rate they charged for this old and out of the city center hotel.

The hotel is nice, compact, has a lood location and very impressive view from the window. It is not a problem of NH Tropen, but the Internet connection is working via Swisscom and this connection is (sadly) paid. Yes, it is possible to use the free Internet vouchers at the first floor, but there are no free Wi-Fi in the hotel rooms.

While the location was a little of center, you could walk no problem since the area was very nice and more quiet. The beautifully decorated hotel, the attention fine, breakfast amazing. Facilities very good. The room did not match the decoration of the rest of the hotel at least one standart room.

Very good for the money! Everything worked perfectly! Although it is a little bit far from the city centre, the tram and bus stop is right in front of the hotel and they pass every 10 minutes.

Cheap and close to a bus and tram stop. No free internet in the rooms. Wifi in the lobby was free but slow and the code expires every 30 minutes.

The room is very comfortable with good toiletries. Very good localization, approx. 10 minutes from the central station. If you plan to come to the hotel during the day a full day ticket for the public transport may be worth. Breakfast is expensive. And the internet is only free in the lobby (as informed in the site) and is very slow.

The comforts of a big hotel at the price of a cheap B&B in a quiet, residential and central area of Amsterdam. Great attention to details: you'll even find instant coffee, tea bags and a kettle in the room. The staff is helpful and professional. The only minus is perhaps the internet. You have a 30 minutes free connection everyday, after which you must pay around 10 € per hour. Or go to the nearby Sweet Asia café in Eerste van Swindenstraat 463 and use the Wi-Fi for free (ask the password at the counter)!

The room was nicely decorated, modern and confortable. The tram 9 that goes to the city center stops directly in front of the hotel, and takes around 15 minutes. The cleaning lady left us some towels in a bag at the door when we didn't want to be disturbed for cleaning. You could access the internet by using the computer at the reception but it was very expensive. Breakfast very expensive. There was no fridge in the room.

The Hotel is good, is well located (20 min. Walk from the center), the staff is very friendly and helpful! The room was cleaned every day, very comfortable! The price is right at the hotel worth staying at the nh Tropen in Amsterdam! Nothing ... everything was good!

Quiet location, near green parks and flea markets.Can walk to local pubs, coffee shops morning and night. Handy to bus and tram. Some staff members are very nice. No fridge in room, Poor design for toilet and bath room.

Beds were comfortable, the tram to the city was really close, car park was enclosed in a fence and there was a grocery store close by. Couldn't use the stairs in lieu of the elevator. Not sure what would happen if there was a fire.

Der Empfang war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ebenso konnten wir sofort die Zimmer beziehen, das war ganz toll. Bezüglich Bar war eine Person ziemllich mürrisch (vielleicht weil er am Sonntag arbeiten musste!)
