*Polite staff *Fair breakfast *Walking distance to center
*Heat was turned off in the room during the day, making the room ice cold *Thin walls
breakfast, kettle + tea & coffee provided in room
I am very thankful to all the hotel staff that was really kind and efficient. The location is very good and the premises clean and well run.
A little incident with a person of the staff at breakfast service that made fun of me imitating my way of speaking while informing my room number. I felt really unconfortable and speachless. I think that should never happen to anyone anywhere.
The location of the hotel. Very clean. The staff was very friendly.
Really nice staff, they are happy to help you with everything that you need. Rooms are small but confortable, however excellent for the price.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, not far from the center, with very friendly personnel and very nice breakfast. Clean, warm and excellent wifi. I recommend it definetely.
I can't say anything negative.
The plusses: easily accessible location; pleasant staff; excellent wifi service; comfortable room.
I honestly don't have anything over which to complain.
breakfast was really good, very friendly staff and the good location
People and location are tied for "best" about this nice little family hotel. It was also very quiet and private in the room.
The comforter always is a little too hot for me. Would also appreciate a bit more variety at breakfast. However, these are minor when viewed as part of an excellent stay.
location was good
the walls are not soundproof - you may find it difficult to sleep if you have noisy neighbours
The staff was extremely friendly, especially at reception, and they spoke German and English fluently. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The room was small, but clean. Cleaniness is the most important thing for me in a hotel and that was fulfilled.
The bed was a bit small, but still ok. The room itself was also small, but I think I can't expect more for a single room in that price category in Amsterdam.
Excellent location. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms with the twin beds were pretty small (not much space between you and your friend while sleeping). Breakfast was basic.
The hotel was clean and very well ordered, the bed comfortable and the staff very helpful. It's position was perfect for me: on a quiet street, but close to everything I needed.
There is nothing to say!
clean rooms, fair breakfast, free wifi
very small rooms but what can you expect from the building in the city centre
Great location and the staff are very professional and friendly.
A little noisy from the floor above
Clean room, walking distance to all the highlights. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Lift made it much easier changing floors.
Our room was directly above the kitchen so we could smell breakfast before we wanted to! En-suite was small particularly the shower space.
The hotel is well situated for public transport in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants nearby and within walking distance of the museum district.
Location Staff Breakfast
The staff were wonderful. Friendly and very accommodating.
It was all very good
Room is good and clean.. beds are also comfy.. staff is nice.. Location is a bit far from the city center.. but very quiet though.
Everything: Room is nice, beds are comfy, food is very nice. Room is very quiet.
Wifi is quite weak.
1. location 2. clean room. 3. internet speed
1. elevator is too old and small.
Very friendly staff Clean room with radio (!) It's nice to listen to radio, not many hotels have it nowadays. Decent size room, nice, clean bathroom Great
Noise from other travellers. Not the fault of the hotel but walls are thin in Amsterdam.
Nice clean hotel, good breakfast and nice rooms. Good location for local amenities and tourist tours.
Can be noisy if you're in the wrong room, or a very light sleeper as it is in Amsterdam city centre it is as you expect prone to exterior noise.
