I liked the environment. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, and the wifi didnot work in our room nor in the public areas. That was a disappointment. The staff promised they would try to improve it.

The environment and the view from the rooms. And the proximity to wageningen.

The hotel was comfortable. We stayed via Bookings.com at a discounted price. Without the discount we would say that the hotel was very expensive and is in need of a makeover. The restaurant we also found very expensive. I would take into account that we are from the UK where hotel and restaurant prices are much less than those of most european countries.

Location, for my purposes. Room was a reasonable size and reasonably furnished. Breakfasts, included in the room rate, were good.

Paying extra for balcony was a joke. At 07.00 there was no breakfast ready and it wasn't possible to check out, despite hotel information. The shower is a dribble and the temperature fluctuates wildly. Drinking and eating in Hotel is expensive, e.g. afternoon tea is 18.50 per person.

We enjoyed out stay very much, but found the check out a real problem. Our friends also had the same experience, they were asked to wait 20mins, as reception was busy with the computer for something else. We were told that they would post the bill to us, we had gone down earlier to check out and then at the last min, as we were leaving we could check out. We had deadline to meet and we could then not wait in a queue. I believe that this service has to improve. This is the second time we have stayed there and was nice. But may choose another hotel next time!

Vey serene environment, with the forest around. The breakfast has good varieties of food.

Hope the hotel could provide iron and kettle in the room.

The restaurant location and eating out on the terrace facing the woods was lovely. The food was excellent.

The beds were a bit soft, perhaps could do with some replacement mattresses.

Authentic place on a great location with a real vibe and couleur locale to it, in my experience hard to find in Holland. Excellent base for Veluwe and eastern part of Holland. Very decent cuisine as well. And I always enjoy free parking and free wifi.

Well, wifi is free but the connection isn't sufficient to cover the hotel rooms. Very frustrating when you count on it to have some work done. Watching television instead is no alternative, with only Dutch and German public chains available. For such a great place, the TV/WIFI situation is very dissapointing and far below expectations for 4 star accomodation and the international traveller.

Quiet location. The resteraunt was excellent, compliments to the chef the steak was wonderful and the staff very helpful.

Mattress in room 41 to soft

Fantastic beer (Palm) - well kept and well served. Outstanding dinner (filet mignon). Excellent staff.

The restaurant service is great! Perfect food, high quality and reasonable price.

If you are without a car, it is quite difficult to reach the city center. Taxis are available, but is is around 20 euros a trip.
