Novotel Eindhoven  

The location was important as I wanted to catch a flight and did not want to be far away from the airport. I suggest having a free airport shuttle service.

I thought the hotel was very modern and clean overall ... I liked the convenience of having a hot-water cooker in the room -- WIFI also nice even though we didn't require it this trip. The biggest concern for our family of 5 is cost -- and while many families in our group stayed at the Van der Valk, we found this more affordable. Thank you!

The hotel was nice. Room oké. Restaurant perfect and service also excelent.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, spacious room, the isolation of bathroom from room, tea&coffee facilities, tv channels, additional pillows and towels. Clean enough. Perfect for a transit stay (3-5 minutes by car from airport).

The place where the kettle was kept in was dusty. The card in bed-head where written "Have a good sleep, good night" were so dusty, that it was visible with the naked eye. Magazines on the table were all in dutch language.

Hotel excellant location fro the motorway, staff very friendly and the resturant is excellant.

The hotel is easy to find from the motorway and the parking was both free and secure.

Booking.com stated that checking was from 12:00 but when we arrived just after this we were told that no rooms were available until 'later' and to go away to return later in the afternoon. We really had to press for a time to come back some could organise our day. Eventually we were told to return at 3pm to check in.

The reception area was ok - and the evening menu ok.

We were thoroughly disappointed at the standard of the bedroom in this hotel. In no way did it reflect what we have experienced of other Novotel hotels. In no way was the room superior. The bed was uncomfortable, the bedding lumpy and the towels smelt greasy and unclean. The bath was tiny. The staff did not respond to our complaints about the room. The corridors were also bleak and unwelcoming. Clearly there is a quality assurance issue with your ratings and we will not trust them in future. Totally spoiled the last night of our holiday.

For us the Novotel was a stop over spot on our journey to Deventer in the east. It was relatively close to the airport although it would have been good to have been able to catch a transit bus or equivalent directly from the hotel to the train station in the morning. Also,in the room, it would have been nice to have had a cup of tea out of crockery instead of papercups. Everything else was wonderful including the exceptional evening meal in the dining room. Compliments once again to the chef. Breakfast was also excellent - amazing choices.
