The hotel itself was fine and breakfast was good. Bed felt broken on one side and I woke up with back pain
Location really nothing around. Seems to be for business travelers
Rooms were good size. Had great full size high chairs for our daughter. Shuttle service to downtown was great. Staff was excellent.
Carpet was a bit old but that was minor.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The personnel are kind and always willing to help. The breakfast is good with enough choices.
The bathroom stinks from the drain, the corridor of the 2e floor stinks also from the drain.
Gave us a disabled room and some facilities were sub standard especially in the bathroom.
Free shuttle to market square, close bus stop for return trip. Even walked home one night - not too far. Restaurant and bar area for after hours.
Reception staff very helpful & friendly
Bed a bit hard
Free shuttle to market square and close to bus stop for return to hotel after sight-seeing/shopping at town center
Authorization on credit card (is better you collect your money once), advice on water and electricity usage.
Friendlyness of the staff. lobby area.
Time it took to get the bill, early in the morning 6:30.
Roomsize: We had the bigger room with an extra bedcouch. Perfect for a family upto two kids. Quiet location. Parking 5 Euros a day and sufficient parking space. Parking for bicycles Breakfast buffet was good (what you can expect from a 4* hotel). The hotel has a nice outdoor pool with terras (we did not use it: october). Hotel is close to the A2 motorway.
No real problems seen here. Hotel is not perfect, but we did not see any bad 'surprises'. Well, it's not in the city center, but we knew this in advance. Offers some advantages: lower parking rate, quieter and it's only 2km on a bike/shuttlebus to the city center. Due to the A2/N2 construction work, the hotel is a little bit complicated to reach. Will be finished in 2016.
The family orientation was confirmed as soon as we walked in the lobby - a small but very nice kids play spot. The whole restaurant area and the lobby bar felt kind of cozy. Breakfast was also a hit
Personnel was very friendly and the lobby was very cosy!
There is good will in the staff but room service doesn't work!
Front desk was friendly and helpfull. Good parking facilities for a nominal daily fee. Good WiFi reception in the room and the lobby.
Cleanliness was a problem. Corners in shower area were dirty. Carpet in room needed a thorough cleaning. Hall on the fourth floor had a mouldy smell.
Easy and comfortable hotel.
The melon in the fruit salad at breakfast was spoiled.

Staff very friendly, helpful and happy to speak English. Great kids corner for our young kids to play in. Staff were fine with us eating our restaurant meal in the bar area next to the kids play area rather than us having to sit in the restaurant. There is a free bus into the city (which usually only runs every hour) as the hotel is not right in the centre of Maastricht. Staff put on an extra bus for us because the hourly slots were fully booked. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large selection of food. Kids ate breakfast for free. Overall an excellent hotel.
Not really a negative as such, but be aware that it's best to book the shuttle bus in advance. Sometimes you might not know in advance exactly what time you will need the shuttle.
Location, Cleanliness and Decor
Helpful staff Free mini bus to centre Nice area Pool clean
Drinks expensive Family room should have been twin beds not a sofa bed
They offer a handy shuttle service into the city and have a special taxi rate back....quite a good deal considering parking isn't cheap in the city.
The rooms were a little small for a family...great that we were able to save a little money by allowing 2 children in a standard double room but there was barely any room to move. Breakfast was very expensive compared to what you could get in a cafe in the city centre.
Kids area is fantastic. Color pens for the kids. Good restaurant, accessible, cheap parking, shuttle to Maastricht center.
Sleeping comfort was far below expected. The springs from the sleeping sofa are still printed in my back, the main bed was saggy.
Hospitable and corporate as expected from a large business chain Hotel. Very good WiFi at first floor room. Children's corner including Xbox at ground floor. One way shuttle bus to city center. Safety deposit box and mini fridge in the room.
Even if I know what I am letting myself into, I am always astonished at some of the additional charges. Three fifty for a small bottle of water from the mini bar, which is basically the only thing in it. Eighteen euro for breakfast. A one slotted toaster is not enough at breakfast, ten euro/day for wired lan is ancient behaviour. The sleeper sofa is a pre for families but also a medieval torturing device when slept on. But these can all be avoided so overall a pretty good stay.
Bus stop in front of hotel. Also shuttle bus to train station.
No sky sports.
Very comfortable! The restaurant had great food! Dinner and breakfast were exceptional!
