Hotel Old Dutch  

The hotel is in in front of the harbour, very nice location. Breakfast ok with a lot of choice, staff friendly

It was quite ok but wifi connection finally was only in the entrance hall because the signal was quite weak.

The Hotel Old Dutch is in a fabulous location. It is right on the harbor with shops and restaurants all around. The hotel bar and restaurant are lovely and the breakfast room is very nice. The breakfast selection was very good and the coffee and orange juice were delicious. The rooms are nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. There was a fire alarm pulled at 3:00 A.M. in the morning, but no fire or emergency, thank goodness. There was a bit of noise from the street, but overall the hotel is lovely and the staff

The location right on the seaside was picturesque. We easily took the bus into Amsterdam and back. The hotel was charming.

I saw this before in the reviews but ignored it - there is no soap dish in the shower and the soap keeps falling on the floor.

Restaurant

It is located in the centre of Volendam, the view of the harbour is wonderful (we were in a room at the front of the hotel) and their breakfast was really good.

Parking!!!! We tried to find the parking area on our own and it was impossible but we have to add that when we went back to the hotel to complain that we could not find their parking area; one of their staff came in the car with us and showed us the way. And if you know where you are going, it is easy!

Very nice hotel. Will definetly stay again.

Excellent dinner for our one night stop.

Great difficulty in finding and accessing hotel by car.It would have been very much appreciated to have had a map, showing access to car park at rear of hotel.. This was very frustrating and delayed our arrival by more than thirty minutes. Why not a detailed map on the web site and sign at the rear of hotel to have guided us.

Eating a lovely dinner with the Old Dutch Hotel under their space heater in the evening air overlooking the old harbour, just lovely. We took the bus from Vollendam to Amsterdam, then a tram to Rokin where we took a canal tour before walking a short distance to Beginhof and tram back to central station. We then took bus 111 to Marken where we walked through the pretty little village to the ferry which took us back to Vollendam - a great day out

It is clean and simple

Hotel con mucho encanto por la ubicacion y la belleza de los alrededores. El personal es eficiente y muy agradable. La proximidad de Amsterdam y la facilidad del transporte lo hacen una magnifica opcion para conocer esta parte de Holanda en un alojamiento tranquilo.

La dificultad para acceder al aparcamiento, con limitaciones horarias.

Très bon hôtel, bien situé. Navette jusque Amsterdam. Vollendam à voir, ainsi que Maarken et Edam. Propreté des chambres Ok Le personnel a accepté de mettre notre moto dans leur sous-sol.

Dommage que le personnel ne parle pas français.

War sehr schön und angenehm, mit einem wunderbaren Blick über den Hafen. Die Zimmer waren gross und hell, einzig ein Haartrockner fehlte im Bad. Das Restaurant im Hotel war hervorragend zum essen. (Seezunge Pompadour) ganz speziell. Wenn wir wieder nach Vollendam kommen, dann ins Old Dutsch.
