Hotel Old Dutch  

I have stayed at the old dutch for the past 10 yrs, at various times and I like the staff and the location

The location right on the seaside was picturesque. We easily took the bus into Amsterdam and back. The hotel was charming.

I saw this before in the reviews but ignored it - there is no soap dish in the shower and the soap keeps falling on the floor.

Restaurant

Newly renovated hotel with nice window view and good restaurant. The staff are very friendly

If we need to go to Amsterdam early morning you should count at least 1 hour for 20 km

We both enjoyed our stay in the Old Dutch Hotel. It could have been spoilt by the first room allocated to us not being ready. Fortunately staff were quick to allocate an alternative room on the first floor overlooking the harbour which was ideal. We would return the hotel and advise others to do so. Another concern was the shortage of staff in the dining room. The person working there seemed to have too much to do as she was also the cleaner.

The hotel has an outstanding location overlooking the harbour. Recently refurbished, the room was spotlessly clean and well decorated with minimum but attractive furnishings and comfortable beds and easy chairs. The restaurant menu was varied and food was well presented and excellent value for money.

There was lots of noise from the harbourside well into the early hours of Saturday morning and our windows had to remain open otherwise the room would have become too hot.

Great location - the rooms were spacious and immaculate. Very fiendly staff at the hotel, breakfast room and restaurant. Parking was a breeze even though this is on a very busy pedestrian way with the 'parking guy' across the way.

We have no complaints about the hotel but finding it on a very busy holiday weekend on a pedestrain only street was a bit of an adventure.

The Old Dutch hotel was newly renovated in our room and everything was up to a first class standard. The öld world"standard of the hotel was, however, preserved. The view from the room over the harbour was magical. The buffet breakfast was first class.

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. My only comment is that in the brand new shower they have omitted a shelf for the soap, shampoo etc.

prima lokatie, goede service, vriendelijk personeel. heerlijk ontbijt, met alles erop en aan. zelfs zalm.

het enige wat tegen viel was de ruimte waar ontbeten moest worden. dit was te klein en het rook er erg naar.

Badkamer

Mooie ruime kamers, Lekker ontbijt Goede prijskwaliteit

Op de kamer was het wel aan de warme kant, de verwarming kon ook niet lager. Bij het ontbijt was helaas geen fruit te bekennen, iets wat wij lekker hadden gevonden. Verder geen slechte dingen ontdekt

Ontvangst vriendelijk, kamers prima tot luxe. Restaurant van het Hotel prima, goede keuken en vriendelijk personeel. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug, met iets beter weer.

Het personeel was erg gastvrij en beleeft. De kamer was prima en zag er netjes uit. Het eten dat geserveerd werd was erg lekker en zag er goed uit kortom: Prima.
