i liked being right in the heart of the city, just up the road from all the excitement but still in the heart, we had the quad room it was at one of the sister hotels, but great, it was on the ground floor, with a coffee shop right out side, with a pub next door, and the best thing was the bathroom within the room it was a jacuzzi bath, totally heaven |

The honesty of staff with no punches pulled .This is what you paid for ,This is what you get! The hotel was very well positioned in an area of Amsterdam that is full of character and characters. More light needed in the breakfast area. Perhaps this was a deliberate ploy so tha you didnt 'know what was being served; which was incidently quite tasty, whatever it happened to be. |

The Hotel is situated right in the heart of city. Its proximity to the Red Light District is alluring. Staff is extremely genial and caring and very cooperative. The Rooms are very small. There hardly any space to move around.Double Rooms are like Single Rooms. |

No problems whatsoever. Good value hotel for the centre of Amsterdam. Helpful staff. Great Location. Would use again. Beds were a little uncomfortable, but I slept fine. |

very close to train station and red light district We believe our camera was stolen from our hotel room when we were out for dinner, staff not very helpful or friendly when we tried to find where it went or who had been in our room. |

A great location in the RLD, close enough for everything but without anything being in-your-face. The staff, both at the desk and the maid service, were good. Fairly cheap, because ... ... it's a terrible old building and the room it's self was tiny; long, thin and cramped. Even if the cost of having flat floors or a lift is too much, less forgiveable was the contents of the room. There was a decent tap with hot water, soap and a plastic cup. The desk was very sloped and unstable, and the surface was very rough. Worst of all, the bed. |

You can only get up to the rooms if buzzed in by staff, so the security is not too bad - the shared bathroom was relatvely clean - It is right in the middle of a very busy road in the Red Light District so would be ok if thats what your after Pretty much everything else - Dirty tiny rooms, dirty bed sheets, camper beds placed end to end, tv broken, |

A cosy hotel in one of the most popular shopping areas of Amsterdam between De Munt (cinemas, flower market) and the Dam (Royal Palace, Nieuwe Kerk, Madame Tussaud, Bijenkorf store). |
Hotel 'De Korenaer' is a typical Dutch 2-star hotel, centrally located on Damrak, Amsterdam’s main avenue and close to many attractions. |
The hotel is situated in the historical heart of the city. Within walking distance you willl find many shopping streets and department stores. |
