Good Location Quick check in
Rooms very noise Towels and bedding was not changed TV remote didnt work Sink was in the main room, not in the WC
however it is noisy Share bathroom sucks
The staff, the location, the cleanliness, the memory foam beds and the price were fabulous! Definitely staying here again!
The shower room was right outside our room, so we were woken up which people taking showers early.
The location, the friendliness and all round brilliant hotel
Great location friendly staff
I very much liked the location. Everything was in a walking distance, no need to buy a tram ticket
We stayed in a "hotel" opposite to the hotel old quarter, apparently they have some extra rooms across the street. There were two rooms on each floor and we stayed on top. It was very difficult to carry our luggagr up the steep narrow stairs as there was no elevator. Moreover it seemed there was only one toilet and one shower in the whole building and it seemed no one was cleaning them even after my complaints on the third day of our stay.
To be honest everything....cannot fault this experience and will definitely check in again sometime.
Room was OK. Space was great and beds were comfortable
There were stains up the wall and on the carpet that could have been cleaned.
The staff were amazing from we walked into the hotel to check in, our room was already ready and waiting for us on arrival, the hotel was always clean nothing left in the corridors, no noise in the hotel of a night time bliss!!!
The stairs leading up to the rooms are very narrow and I felt were dangerous especially the stairs leading to the top rooms where we stayed (room 10), also the fact that smoking is outside only was a bit of a problem due to the rain!
Comfy bed great location
Tv didnt work, lamp didnt work, big set of draws nearly fell over everytime we opened a draw, we had 4 plug sockets between 3 of us and only 1 worked, the bathroom always smelled awful, the tap on the sink in the bathroom was loose and every time one of us had a shower the water went everywhere all over the bathroom floor... room H4.
The location was perfect and our room was facing over the canal which had a fab view of central station. The staff were friendly and all spoke excellent English. The bar had good deals on alcohol as in the city centre it can be expensive
The beds were exceptionally soft so we woke up aching.. not really a bad point of hotel as it's just our personal preference. All rooms now no smoking in line with law
The location of this hotel is great. In the heart of the city and everything is within a 5 minute walk.
The rooms were shockingly small. It is the type of place where you just drop your bags and leave to see the city all day.
staff helpful special the young lady from slowakei
the bed old and soft like hell no change of towel even if i asked not made the bed the hotel needs renovation the hostels are better stndard in room i think furniture where still from the opening side lamp not workeing tv not wrking but i did not coem to watch tv in amsterdam
Clean bathrooms. Good wifi. Good location. Laundromat just a few doors up. Heaps of restaurants.
Single beds were very skinny. TV hung low over one bed and we both hit our heads on it. Two staff members stated breakfast was at a certain time but when we went to it it wasn't for another half hour so we had to leave for a long trip on an empty stomach. Would be good if times and staff knowledge were consistent.
Good position, 5 minutes to Dam Square
The room was rediculosly small, there's was a sink in the middle of the room, not enough space to move. Bathroom extremely small (shower too tight to the wc). The entire building was stinky. Not satisfied, having paid 70€ each per night!
Fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from train station. Canal view room looked on to the Damrak. Very comfortable beds. Reasonably quiet considering central location.
Non smoking throughout - not too much of an issue for us being smokers though as our room was downstairs and close to reception. However, it was right next a service cupboard - often heard people coming down the stairs to access it and not all were respectful & quiet.
Location good for Red Light area. Cheap for a city centre hotel. Friendly staff. Street front room, able to witness the madness outside.
Cold breakfast. Staff not buzzing door open having just given me the room key. Scruffy room. No smoking in room anymore. Expensive, poor quality bar snacks. Samsung remote for a Phillips TV.
Horrible and never proper wi-fi connection! Room was dirty, cold and noisy. No elevator. You need to carry your luggage upstairs. Even hairdryer does not exist in the hotel.
It was close to the central amsterdam
The heater was broken so our room felt like a sauna until it was fixed.
an awful bed
It was over a bar! In desperate need of complete renovation! Unclean! Very Expensive for the quality of accommodation! And the lift was not working properly! Dangerous! How long since this hotel was assessed by booking. Com???????
I didn't like anything about it.
That I stayed there.
I liked only a cat that they have like a pet
The bedroom was uncleaned. The mattress had stain of blood. The rug looked with dirt. I had to ask for towels. The staff was only worried about the bar most than any other in the hotel They hadn't a chef in the kitchen, the chef was whoever were working as a clerk of barman
The hotel is a pub with rooms above. The pub was good, And english breakfast was good,
Rooms tiny, bathroom tiny. Toilet & shower in one. So when you had a shower toilet got wet, sink was outside bathroom,on wall opposite beds, Beds were head to head, Friends were across the road in other rooms. No secure luggage storage,
