The hotel is near the Rotterdam Central Station. The rooms are very very very small!!! The cleanliness is far below expectations. The water in the bathroom is almost warm but by no means anything resembling hot. |

Nothing. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was the most uncomfortable hotel I've ever stayed, even if it was for only one night. Getting to the rooms were like going through a fun house maze but without the fun. The blue light on the television stayed illuminated in the room and there was no way to unplug it. The light switches were completely confusing and put in odd areas of the room, so the light switch next the bathroom was in another location near the bed. When I read that the room sizes were tiny on other reviews, there were no mentions that the size of the rooms were like tiny squat sizes and I could barely fit my small backpack anywhere! Who ever designed this hotel wasn't at all thinking about the traveler. A horrible place. |

Breakfast was good The room was most unconfortable and small. To get to the room I had to go through a maze of 4 doors without space to circulate with a medium size luggage. The bathroom was extremely small and badly arranged. This hotel is not even a 2 star rated hotel and it isadvertized as 4 star |

I appreciated the reception guy, very kind and helpfull, and the free internet connection in the room. There are free coffee/tea facilities and the minibar prices are reasonable. It's close to the central station and to the metro. I reccomend this hotel not for long holidays, yes for few days business if your budget is low. Few things: bad food smell in the bathroom, the wc flush not working, the croissants at breakfast were not fresh. |

First, above everything else: location, location, location! Hotel One is a two minute walk away from Rotterdam Central Station and the Schouwburgplein with the city's biggest theatre, concert hall and cinema. The main museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping areas are also within walking distances of five to ten minutes. Second: the spacious corner room on the third floor, with wonderful views of the centre of Rotterdam, without letting in too much noise from the cars, trams and pedestrians passing underneath, a good bed, free internet access and the ability to make your own tea and coffee there. The breakfast room and buffet are also fine. Third: price. Hotel One is one of the cheaper options in central Rotterdam. The bathroom was strangely laid out, with a toilet directly in front of the washing basin so you couldn't really stand there in front of the mirror to shave and do your make-up. Also, the shower was a bit tatty. |

The hotel was centrally located with easy access to the city centre shops and cimemas. The staff I met were friendly and helpfull. I was lucky to be able to park directly outside the hotel. The receptionist tried to get me to sign a disclaimer, which basically allowed the hotel to charge you for whatever they like without prior notice, and after you have departed. (make sure you get the blank credit card slip before yoy leave) After some discussion I refused to sign the disclaimer, which was accepted. The stairs are deadly !!!!! |

The hotel was pretty much next to where I needed to be. For tourists the hotel is located in the city center and public transport is close to get you anywhere in the city fast. Loved my stay here and will definitely visit again. The springs of the mattress were feelable on the edges but only when you sat on the edge. the mattress was very comfortable otherwise. |
