The location is perfect for shopping and enjoying the city center. Room was pretty spacious, the bathroom was nice and the shower was perfect. Dogs were allowed for an extra amount. Lots of coffee shops in the street though that cause shady types hanging around the hotel at night. Coffee machine with two complimentary cups was nice, too bad the old cups were still in the machine with the old water. Room had no airco and couldn't leave windows open as they were right on the street and no possibility to leave them only partially open.

Beautiful old house, very well located and close to most touristic sites, yet, the street is fairly quiet. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room service leaves somewhat to be desired: came back to an unmade room one (out of three) evening and all staff had left. No liquor license. Bathroom was large but very dark.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was confortable and the breakfast was good. However the cleanliness of the room was poor. The coffee cups were not properly washed, neither were the water glasses. The bathroom floor was dirty when I arrived and wasn`t cleaned during my stay. The sink wasn`t cleaned while I was there and the bin wasn`t emptied. It was a pity because the location is ideal.

Nice decor. Excellent buffet breakfast. Noise from street a big problem if in room on the front. We were disturbed by youngsters shouting on and off until the small hours. Very poor nights sleep. Would recommend ear plugs!

Location was great. Shopping very close by. Train station not far even if you walk only. Bus station very close too. It was not the case but if you have heavy luggage bear in mind there is no lift.

An excellently situated and very friendly, old-fashioned little hotel. Only two little gripes: Wifi didn't work in my first-floor room, I had to come downstairs. Also the lighting in the room and in the breakfast room was inadequate.

I liked that it was close to center. I didnot like the fact that my room was in the atique,it was too high, without an elevator. Also I found it extremely strange and negative that the reception worked only until 23:00 and after that,if you have any problems, the personel is not willing to help you. For example, they close the front door after 23:00 and if you forgot the key for the side door, then you better find another place to stay, because there is no way that the personel will answer and help you on the phone left for emergency cases.

There is an underground parking nearby and all shopping area's of Maastricht are within walking distance. The groundfloor of the hotel is very authentic. Receptionist at arrival was very kind and stayed that way even though she had to clean our bath tub after the cleaning staff forgot that. Breakfast is quite elaborate and nice for a 3star hotel. Beds are of excellent quality. -Value for money is poor. Paying over 160 euro for one night in a junior suite that is smaller than an average hotel room and just includes a third bed with a blanket over it, is a bit over the top. We were under the roof with one small window. No airco. -If you notice the bath has not been cleaned and was obviously quite soapy from the last guest, you unavoidably wonder what else they forgot... -"Coffee shop" across the street attracks a special kind of people making our return to the hotel in the late evening quite an uncomfortable experience and the noise of "hanging" drunk and drugged people lasted till way over 5 o'clock in the morning. -Very poor sound isolation of the room through the door. -Very noisy breakfast room -No elevator

Staff are nice and friendly The place is too dark, lights too dim. The room somehow gave me a very spooky feeling and I was unable to sleep during the 2 nights stay.

The location is very close to the Old Town, the Market Square is on the other end of the street. It is under 15 minutes from the Main train station on the other side of the river. The hotel is old but charming, my room is a touch gloomy to my liking but nevertheless clean in general. A touch gloomy and spooky.

We've booked including breakfast, and when we arrived we noticed that for a 3.50 extra charge, we could have it delivered by the roomservice. This was a very pleasant suprise: nice selection of bread, fruit, bacon&eggs, drinks, in a basket, delivered by friendly staff members. This hotel is a bit worn-off; especially the bathroom could use a refreshment.
