The owners and staff offer great service. The town (de Cocksdorp) is an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel -- and while the town is small, it had the amenities we wanted (bike rental, some good restaurants, super market, pharmacy & shop that sold kites, blankets and other typical beach items. The breakfast was very nice. As we explored the island on bikes, we realized that while we could have located in de Koog which has LOTS going on, we were glad that we were in the quieter setting of de Cocksdorp where we it's more mellow, yet you can get to what you want fairly easily. Just great to stand on the top of the dike at sunset. The rooms are nice, if a bit small. (Bathroom was very modern, clean.) It was odd that we had a large bed which was made up of two double beds placed side-by-side. Not very comfortable if you're in the middle or for a couple... The pics of the hotel don't show that you're on a rural route that can be a bit busy. The backside of the hotel has the best views and would be most quiet. |

The welcoming feeling at the arrival and every morning at breakfast, the helpfulness of the staff for further information and practical help, and the nice atmosphere created with the hotel guest were absolutely great! |

I didn't need anything more during my stay in hotel, but if the hotel manager consider the situation of couples, it is better for them to have one bed instead of 2 beds for more comfortableness. |

Prettige rustige sfeer, ook als er weinig gasten zijn kun je gebruik maken van alle ruimtes, natuurlijk wordt je dan nog een beetje extra in de watten gelegd. |

Nous avons séjournés à 3 couples pendant un we prolongé du début septembre 2009. Les responsables et le personnel sont attentifs aux clients, tout en étant discrets quand il le faut. Nous avons apprécié globalement cet établissement, notamment le buffet fort varié au petit déjeuner et le repas du soir très bien cuisiné (légumes et poissons). Seul "petit" bémol pour ce qui me concerne : les lits sont séparés et je préfère un lit plus grand. Mais ils étaient confortables. |
