Hotel Orion

Vast breakfast buffet, others reported problems with air traffic or ferry: no problems at all. Very nice is the proximity to the water: lots of sailing etc. - sea spirit. Overall, we are very satisfied.

The location on the island of Kaag was very charming. Small Dutch houses and gardens, restaurants, and boat slips abound. The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the bar area was very unique! The bar was made from an old boat!

THough clean, the quadruple room was very small; not worth 125 Euros in my opinion. The locale, however, almost made up for the spartan accomodations.

it was rather cold when we entered the room, and with the heat on maximum it barely sufficed- but it was a very cold and windy night.

I did not realise that it was not so easy to get at but that is not of your making. The weather was not good but again you could do nothing about that

Ein Hotel in toller Lage auf der kleinen Insel im Dorf Kaag mit alten netten Häusern in gepflegten Gärten. Ein Puppenstuben-Holland. Altes Haus mit kleinen Zimmern, von außen erschlossen. Etwas Jugendherbergscharakter, aber gepflegt. Sehr schöne Umgebung, gut erreichbar von der Autobahn und nicht weit zum Meer.

Negativ sind die Lärmbelästigung durch die Flugzeuge und teilweise auch durch das hauseigene Restaurant. Wenn draußen bei Musik gegessen wird, ist das in den Zimmern nicht zu überhören. Außerdem sind keine Stellplätze in ausreichender Menge vorhanden, weitere auf der Insel kaum vorhanden.

le cadre : Kaag est sur une île charmante avec un joli village. Le fait de prendre un bac pour aller à l'hôtel est atypique et sympa. L'hôtel est migon, c'est sympathique, propre, juste ce qu'il faut comme hébergement pour partir à la découverte des environs ou rester sur l'île et profiter des activités nautiques.

Rien, tout était bien pour nous.

Het is een eenvoudig hotel, de mensen zijn er vriendelijk, gelegen in een knusse buurt, leuke straatjes. De kamer was in orde. Het is er lekker ontbijt. We waren er op doorreis en daarvoor was dit ideaal.

De matrassen waren nogal hard. De overvliegende vliegtuigen s morgens maken wel veel lawaai.
