Hotel Orion  

Had an excellent stay at Hotel Orion. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Rooms were very clean, shower was out of this world, wish I could have one this powerful and hot at home. Spiral stairs were not even to much of a problem for my partially sighted 80 year old father, who also enjoyed his stay with you.

Enjoyed it all, would certainly recommend you.

Location

Difficult external staircases to second floor rooms which were small and had small windows.

The Booking.com descri0ption was spot on so perfect for our needs. Close to motorway and rail network but not on top of them.

The sprial satir case were a bit steep and difficult with tired bones and with luggage but did give direct room access from the outside.

Breakfast was good. Room was relatively small, but sufficient for 2 adults and 2 kids. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was the best for our trip. Easy access to the coast, to Keukenhof, and to cities in the area. Access to the island is by ferry, but it runs 24/7 and is easy to use. We enjoyed walking around Kaag and using the island's free loaner bicycles on the island. It was very peaceful and quiet. Just what my wife and I needed. The kids liked it too.

This is an excellent hotel in a lovely small town at the side of a large lake full of boats. There is a harbour a few moments away and a very picturesque center with plenty of restaurants. A little expensive but worth it.

No on site parking but a free park 5 minutes away.

Friendly staff and owners, that went out of their way to make you more relaxed and welcom. Free maps and local advice on resturants and places of interest.

Not many of the windows opened for fresh air on the top floor, but this was mainly for safety sake.

The Location.

The breakfast could have been better.

It was peaceful - the proximity tp Schipol Airport was not a problem

The rooms were too small for all but an overnight stay.

Liked the little ferry ride to the Island - fun experience. Enjoyed our evening and morning walks around the island and to the windmill. Lovely setting. Good breakfast in the morning - liked the boat bar! Room was utilitarian, but clean and practical. Great location to cycle. Will definitely recommend this to friends. It was ideal for our little over night jaunt. Went to Kuekenhof Gardens and did some cycling in the area, drove down to this hotel for the night, the next day went on to Gouda and Kinderdijk.

Found the room to be a bit of a let down compared to the look of the rest of the hotel - no character. But, the room was very clean,comfortable and practical. Would have been nice to have the option of an evening meal at the hotel, but we walked to a nearby restaurant/pub for a fabulous meal that was very reasonably priced and very tasty!!

Older guests with health problems find the climb to the second floor accommodation up the outside circular metal stairs impossible. Even the climb to the first floor with suitcases is difficult and almost dangerous.

Best thing was the location. The breakfast (included) was good. There was no problem takling our dog. I have ticked "beach/seaside" above because although the hotel is not at the beach, the location allows great facilities for sailing, fishing and boating generally.

The general furnishings and comfort of the room were really basic backpacker standard. The black mould in the grout of the tiles in the shower box needs bleach. The construction of the hotel including stairs, verandah, walls, results in too much noise when other guests go in and out or even move around. Not much can be done about this.

虽然需要渡河才能到达，渡河费用4欧往返。如果开车会方便很多。离花田区还算比较近，花田区的酒店贵而且在- 旺季很容易订满。有自己的停车位。早餐不错~~

三人间空间较小，我们连住3晚，感觉挤了一点。
