Staff was very helpful and kind. Great location, near the Vondel park and only 10 minutes from city centre. Nice hotel garden where I enjoyed my morning coffee. I would definitely stay there again!

Though it is situated in the heart of Amsterdam, near the crowded Leidseplein, the hotel offers quiet rooms and a wonderful garden. It is a very clean, very cosy and comfortable hotel. We will definitely come back here again!

This hotel is wonderful! Quiet street, museum Quarter - 10 min walk, the center - 20 min walk. In just 5 min - Blue boat station. The hotel has 10% discount on cruises. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good to start . We are very pleased and highly recommend the hotel to explore the city! Nothing! Everythink is perfekt!

Don't usually take these surveys but I was really impressed with the staff--very helpful. I was travelling from Kenya to my home in the USA and wanted a place close to parks and easy to get to the airport. The Owl was perfect and the help was absolutely great and helpful. The breakfast is the best ever in a small hotel (except could have used some of the fresh fruit instead of canned). But overall a great hotel experience. Steve Elzinga

The location near the Leidsplein was good.Transport links were good too.... Either the trams ( 1,2 or 5 ) Centraal station to the Lp or the 197 bus from the airport to the bridge near the hotel. Breakfast was adequate with reasonable choice.Beds were comfy !! Clean and tidy throughout.

Good breakfast, bar & bar prices, pleasant & helpful staff, decor in public areas, location, room comfortable & clean. Bedroom & bathrooms dated & a little shabby, no fridge, no tea & coffee making facilities.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Though the room was small it was adequate and the building had an elevator. The breakfast area was attractive and though the food buffet was simple it offered a good variety. The airport shuttle took one right to the door. A large park was 200m just down the street and the Leidesplein was three minutes the other way. Here one could find the trams, choose from 50 or so restaurants including fast food outlets, and enjoy a wide variety of shops. The casino was there plus two theatres and the square itself was 'alive' at all times. Five hundred metres east were the Van Gogh museum, Rijkmuseum and diamond museum.

Fairly quiet area but close to good transport links and convenient for most tourist attractions. Some guests returned very late to hotel rooms and were noisy.

Well located near to tourist area but away from traffic -pleasant area. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and the buffet breakfast was a really nice way to start the day

-Good location- 7-10 min from museum area and main shopping street,10 min by tram till Central station -small nice family hotel -good brekfast -free internet -It was very hot in the room (central heating) -heating near head part of the bad!(single room) -single room is very small -main minus- autorization (block the payment for the first day of staing from my card.It was not agreed with me and I did not have information about it before)

Great location, quite and close to leidseplein. Very easy to reach the airport by bus a few feet away from the hotel. Maids were a bit noisy in the morning, but they were kind anyway :)
