The building was a really nice refurbished old warehouse directly in the city center next to a canal. It was really beautiful, and the room was really spacious. |

We enjoyed the atmoshere during our breakfast, the way that it was presented, and the food that we ate, the staff were quite helpful and spoke really good english. We arrived on Friday 26th of June, Our room was not tidied or the towels changed on Saturday. There was only half a toilet roll in the room and we had to ask at reception for another roll, this was a problem because we had been put in the annex of the hotel which was quite a walk from the main hotel. The woman on the reception said that there had been a booking error and your computer had us arriving on Saturday 27-06-2009 and not the day before. |

Uitermate vriendelijke receptie. Wij zaten in de dependance en dit was centraal gelegen t.o.v. de restaurants en cafe's. De bijgeboekte Lazy Sunday was perfect! Wel wat last gehad van geluiden buiten op straat 's nachts en 's morgens vroeg. |

De locatie is prima, midden in het centrum van Alkmaar, buitenkant van gebouw heeft een mooie uitstraling, gezellige sfeer. De kamer was niet echt schoon, vloerbedekking erg vies en wat we hadden gezien aan foto's op het internet hadden wij het idee de minste kamer van het type te hebben gekregen. De term junior suite sloeg naar onze mening op de ruimte (aanwezigheid keukenblok), niet op de luxe. |

Het bed was goed en de kamer zag er leuk uit. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. 95 euro voor een kamer waarin ik de buurman lettelijk hoor snurken, waardoor ik geen nachtrust krijg. Het ligt niet aan de buurman, maar aan de spaanplaat welke de twee ruimten scheidt. Leuk als studentenkamer, maar dan betaal ik 400 euro per maand ipv 95 euro per nacht. Overigens durfde ik de TV ook niet aan te doen of met mijn vriend te praten, want dan zou de buurman wakker worden van ons. Tevens was de douche lek. Ik ben nog ondergoed op mijn kamer vergeten, maar wordt ook niet door het hotel gebeld, terwijl ze mijn telefoonnummer en adres hebben genoteerd. De dependence is best wel ver lopen met je baggage als je eerst incheck bij de lobby. |

De ontvangst is zeer positief Comfort voldoet aan de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Andere kamers bij het Pakhuis hebben gewoon wat meer. |

Zentrale Lage zur Stadt, Apartement: sauber, gepflegt, großzügige Wohnfläche nettes Personal an Reception Lautstärke im Zimmer, wenn im Stockwerk darüber Personen laufen, lautes Knarren auf Boden!!!Und das Morgends um 8 Uhr:-( |

Het Pakhuys is een klein en sfeervol hotel met prachtige kamers. Een aanrader is ook het hotel restaurant Helder met een heerlijke kaart. Wij vonden het ontbijt wel aan de prijzige kant voor wat je kreeg. Ook is het toch wel gehorig. De onderburen waren bijna te verstaan. Van stappend Alkmaar hebben wij verder geen last gehad. |

Geschmackvolle Zimmereinrichtung, Lage direkt am Kanal, freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Rezeptionistinnen. Recht Laut am Wochenende, Frühstück mit etwas geringer Auswahl und Warten auf Brötchennachschub. |
