We enjoyed the atmoshere during our breakfast, the way that it was presented, and the food that we ate, the staff were quite helpful and spoke really good english. We arrived on Friday 26th of June, Our room was not tidied or the towels changed on Saturday. There was only half a toilet roll in the room and we had to ask at reception for another roll, this was a problem because we had been put in the annex of the hotel which was quite a walk from the main hotel. The woman on the reception said that there had been a booking error and your computer had us arriving on Saturday 27-06-2009 and not the day before. |

We loved the old building and the way it had been refurbished for modern use It turned out to be rather difficult to discover how to heat the room, so we spent a cold night until we found out this mystery |

Suites are really nice. Plenty of room, even when staying with 3 people. Booking.com website indicated check in till 11:00pm. Hotel was expecting check in till 6:00pm. This created confusion and some hardship for the evening attendant during my late check in. |

Zentrale Lage zur Stadt, Apartement: sauber, gepflegt, großzügige Wohnfläche nettes Personal an Reception Lautstärke im Zimmer, wenn im Stockwerk darüber Personen laufen, lautes Knarren auf Boden!!!Und das Morgends um 8 Uhr:-( |

Het Pakhuys is een klein en sfeervol hotel met prachtige kamers. Een aanrader is ook het hotel restaurant Helder met een heerlijke kaart. Wij vonden het ontbijt wel aan de prijzige kant voor wat je kreeg. Ook is het toch wel gehorig. De onderburen waren bijna te verstaan. Van stappend Alkmaar hebben wij verder geen last gehad. |

een mooi stijlvol gerenoveerde kamer om 7u. 's morgens werden we wakker gemaakt door een filmcrew, die naast ons opnamen gingen maken, hier wisten wij niets vanaf!! een open wc op een podium achter het bed, lijkt mij niet zo geschikt voor mensen die elkaar niet zo goed kennen, vertrouwd zijn met elkaar (geen privacy). |

Chambre très spacieuse avec décoration originale, chaque chambre semble avoir sa couleur dominante. Personnel très sympathique et dynamique. L'insonorisation insuffisante, on entend et comprend les voisins. L'entrée de l'hôtel n'est pas clairement indiquée (la réception n'est pas dans la maison avec l'enseigne de l'hôtel). |

Personeel dacht mee om te voorkomen dat ik zonder ontbijt weg moest (moest om zes uur de deur uit); maakten s'avonds alvast een blad met eten voor me klaar. Er was geen wekker; deze is alsnog geregeld. Kennelijk is er rond 6 uur nog niemand wakker; dit ligt misschien aan de schaal van het hotel (kleinschalig, niet te doen om voortdurend personeel aan het werk te hebben). Het is daarom geen handig hotel wanneer je er vroeg uit moet, en toch van een ontbijtbuffet wilt genieten. |
