Shared a twin room with a colleague. The room was very clean and had plenty of room with a desk area at one end. Staff were very helpful at reception.

10 min walk from Station to hotel along pretty little canal. Modern, efficient service, good room for short stay. Food good.

Friendly and very helpful staff, excellent location (very close to the train station). Nice spacious rooms and free-to-use internet.

Breakfast is not included when we booked, and is E12.5 per person - this is very steep for what is offered. However, there are plenty of lunchrooms closeby where one can have a nicer breakfast at a lower rate. In the morning, there was a smoky smell coming from the ventilation system in the bathroom, which was a bit odd.

The only Postive about this hotel is that it is close to the train station.

The room I was checked into was firstly for a disbaled person and I am not disabled. The bathroom and toilet was terrible to use and it was not very clean. It seems that someone had come in and used the bathroom and left the towel on the floor and soap opened. Also the heating system didnot work. It was not a clean hotel by any means. When I requested for a change in the room it was denied. It was also extremley expensive. I paid the same price for the beautiful Golden Tulip Hotel in Amsterdam. It was a most unpleasant stay and will definately not go back there!

Comfortable

Not all of the staffs are friendly. I asked the hotel how to go to Kinderdijk, a lady at the reception had given me a brochure of downloading "windmill app" without telling me more info about it (seem like she was lazy to answer my question.) I found out while i was downloading the App that the size was more than 200MB!!! I couldn't imagine why she asked us to download that huge App in the hurry morning that I would go visit Kinderdijk. I think I'm not the first guest that asked them how to get there, I expected that she would provide me a better answer apart from downloading the stupid app. I went back to the counter again and asked another guy instead as I couldnt complete the download. He opened a document folder and gave me a step-by-step direction sheet to Kinderdijk!!! Up until now, I couldnt understand why the lady didnt give me that sheet at first place.

Wonderful value for money. First class breakfast each day, clean, tidy and quiet room and wonderful staff. Short walk to town and station. Highly recommended

Excellent Hotel in central location. Extensive breakfast buffet. Lovely rooms. Staff very friendly. All in all a very good hotel in the city centre at an excellent price. Walking distance to City Centre and major train station.

Parking overnight expensive but essential

Very nice hotel, really good breakfast, not far from the city centre. Our friends had a dirty bed in their room, personal kindly changed the room.

Rooms are a bit noisy - there are old windows and the high street is directly below the windows so you can hear the cars and trams in your room.

Nice hotel..room was quite ok but clean and comfy.Booked for a triple room but was fully occupied but the hotel arranged for another room just next door at no extra cost.The staff are friendly and helpful.Very nice Holland hospitality.
