Hotel Rotterdam    

Excellent Hotel in central location. Extensive breakfast buffet. Lovely rooms. Staff very friendly. All in all a very good hotel in the city centre at an excellent price. Walking distance to City Centre and major train station.

Parking overnight expensive but essential

Nice hotel..room was quite ok but clean and comfy.Booked for a triple room but was fully occupied but the hotel arranged for another room just next door at no extra cost.The staff are friendly and helpful.Very nice Holland hospitality.

Difficult to find when first arriving as behind Rotterdam Central Station and a bit far walking with luggage. Easier by tram returning to station so suggest Hotel Rotterdam spell out to guests best way to get to hotel from station.

The breakfast don't stand in booking price. In hotel we had to pay for breakfast additionally

Family room was above the smoking lounge and stunk of cigarette late into the night. Staff said they could not smell it...they were however very helpful in helping us in moving to a different room that was odour free. Bathrooms were not well cleaned.

The location was perfect (very close to the back exit of Centraal) and it was also very quiet. The staff is quite helpful.

There were no slippers.

The location near the train station was good for us and it was short taxi ride to the port to get the cruise we were taking.

Good location near central train station and that made it relatively easy to find. Nice large room and having a bathtub and a kettle was nice. Very good breakfast buffet.

Although the rooms were spotless when we checked in, the room was not vacuumed the second day and some towels were not replaced.

Handy for the centre of Rotterdam, only 5 minutes walk from Centrall station. Good value for money.

Rooms are a nice size, good breakfast, very convenient location, friendly staff.

No drawers in the room. Hard pillows and no others available. The staff who did the room every day sometimes neglected to make the bed or tidy the bathroom.

The hot water of shower is unstable. The hitting works poorly. Inside design is really different from the lobby, which is rough and should be renovated. It's not as same quality as photos from web.

Price is not high and the location is good.

This hotel is the most disappointing hotel I have ever chosen: 1, there is a huge distance between the real situation and the pictures on this website. 2. The whole environment is depressing, old and the room is ill-decorated. To be worse, the shower water is a disaster, which turned hot and cold alternatively. 3. I cannot understand how it can be ranked 4 STAR. To my experience, it should be below the level of 2 star. I write this information only to let those who might be misguided by the pictures and the star-ranking. The price is not high anyway.
