Perfect location, easy access to public transportation and to city centre. Very friendly and flexible staff. The room was a little too small and the bathroom is not separated enough, which is ok for single occupacy but for two it's a bit uncomfortable. |

Great outdoor garden and seating area. The bar was small but pleasant. The location was terrific for museums, food, access to canals and being near the park it was relatively quiet. The updated bathrooms in the old part where we stayed were well done. Our room was on the 4th floor and not airconditioned. It was too warm but not terrible. |

The location is very good as just next to Vondel Park and shopping area also 2 mins away The room is very .. very .. very small. The staff overall were nice and helpful except one lady at reception was rude on the day when I checked out. Also it was very noisy on the day I checked in because there was an outdoor concert in the back garden of the hotel, didnot stop until around pm8, although the reception kindly told that they would turn down the music. |

I liked the modern and welcoming look of the hotel. Staff were helpful, especially at reception during the night when I was feeling unwell. The single room and bed were a good size for Amsterdam standards. Nice garden area too. I forgot to note to staff the tv in my room did not work. |

Wifi although not free was relatively cheap (at €12.50 for 24 hours) compared to some other hotels. Location was good. Close to Leidseplein and on a nice street near Vondelpark. The room decor was a bit tired compared to the photos. I didn't see much of the rest of the hotel so can't comment further. I had to crawl around under the bed to find a socket to plug in my laptop power, but that may have just been my room. |

Central, clean, helpful staff, internet for free, all in all good value for money. You can buy tram and other tickets at the reception. The booked room was not "superior" as stated. |

The location was excellent, close enough to everything, but quiet enough to relax after all the sights and shopping. The contemporary style of the decor inside the rooms with the old style building was appealing. |

Staff friendly and helpful. Very good location for museums/Vondelpark and also getting into city centre. Pleasant, quiet environment with local restaurants and shops. Breakfast at 15 Euros each very expensive, go to local coffee shop for quarter of cost. Rather clinical room with little comfort factor. Would still recommend hotel, not a show stopper. - just be aware and don't expect luxury. |

fairly central - not too formal - relaxed atmosphere - spacious feeling - good selection at breakfast - helpful staff - light, airy building. We did not use the facility, but the outdoor eating area looked delightful. |

Piet Hein is really accessible, walking distance to the main shopping district and a lovely pancake place next to one of the many canals (which btw if you've noticed is sitting rather precariously on stacked bricks and tiles?) and the tram lines from piet hein run to and from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was really convenient. The room was teeny tiny, but that's not terribly important.. My husband wished there was complimentary tea/coffee and a kettle (kettles are available free on request), and we both found the bed hurt our backs because it just sinks into a well when you're on it! |

The atmosphere of a residential area, and still only three minutes from the heart of Amsterdam: the lively Leidseplein. That is the charm of this cosy hotel. |
Conveniently located in the picturesque museum district, within walking distance from the Leidseplein, is a family-run 3-star hotel offering comfortable rooms and excellent service. |
This classic mansion, full of atmosphere, was transformed into a refined, chic, small design hotel, ideally located on the edge of the extensive Vondel park. |
Situated in vibrant Leidseplein, Amsterdam American Hotel boasts elegant Art Nouveau design and an excellent location, close to Vondel Park and some of Amsterdam's finest music venues and restaurants. |
