Hotel Parkview is next to Amsterdam’s famous Vondelpark, in the upscale Museumkwartier district. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, extra long beds and private bathroom facilities.

I liked the location and the staff were helpful.
I didn't like the pillows on the bed and the lift is very slow. Although this has nothing to do with the Hotel I was very disappointed that some bars/pubs charged their own customers 50 cent to use the restroom. I think the Dutch people are very nice and warm and I don't think this is doing them any favors.
Lovely hotel, very easy to find and well located and within easy reach of the nearest square, Leidsplein. I'd booked about 4 weeks before travelling, and had a really good deal for a single room, which turned out to be a double. The receptionist was brilliant, and got me checked in, in no time. The room was a decent size, a bit on the pokey side, and it really could've done with better furniture, drawers etc. more storage required. Breakfast was awesome, loads of selection, tea coffee juice etc, totally no rush. Fresh eggs offered.
Nothing to report that I can think of, just needed better storage for unpacking.
Distance from city center
- Uneven floor - Old-fashioned furniture - Poor soundproof quality
I like that the bed was so comfortable and the room was so quiet,,i didn't want to get up.. I like that the hotel is located in a good spot and you have so many things to do within 5-10 minutes walk.
I didn't like that while i was having my breakfast in the morning with my friends the staff wanted to clean our table,, that's no good,, they didn't gave us space to enjoy our breakfast,, we paid 9,50 euros for that breakfast after all..
Great location was very clean and comfortable. We had a great veiw of the park would definitely stay at this hotel again would of liked some tea or coffee in the room
No bad experiences
personels are very helpful, really clean and relax rooms for couples. near the museumplein and leindsplein.
you have to walk 20 minutes for red light and dam. but also this walk very funny because of the shops and canals on the way.
The price and the hygiene.
They did not check who left their bagage in the bagage storage so anyone could have gone in and taken our bags.
Really helpful staff who are eager to please.
The bed and the decor
Nothing it was a lovely hotel
the loction is good, very close to major museums. and the service is good also.
the location was fairly good in terms of reaching major main points in the city
The room was very small, hardly unpack my bag. The bed was just a mattress not a real bed.
The staff was very helpful
The size of room and bed. Too small for 143 Euros!!
arrogant and unfriendly staff. smelly lobby because of toilet issues downstairs.
I booked a regular room, not an economic one and when I checked in I saw that I had a room in the basement next to the toilets (a bit smelly) for a quite high price (90 euros). I even had a hard time to find the room, at the end of a strange corridor... I thought that I would have a normal room but I ended up with one that had nothing to do with the visuals in booking.com. And personnel was not very friendly either. I travel quite frequently to Amsterdam, and I don't think I will stay in that hotel again.
- good location - Very clean
- Room located close to entrance, noise travels easily through walls/door
2 minute walk from tram stop, great shops near by and a stones throw from liedersplien sq, very clean hotel, and very friendly and helpfull staff
First of all, the location of the hotel is perfect. (Only 7 minutes walk to Rijksmuseum and it's very close to the tram station.) We had a perfect view of Vondelpark from the room. Also, the bed was very comfortable.
The only thing we didn't really appreciate is the heating. Unfortunately the radiator in the room didn't work all night but we had a supplementary small heater in the cupboard.
Th hotel was comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and polite... A little far out but the hotel was well worth it.
The location was great. The room was mid-size and has a very comfortable bed. Big window, mirror, big TV..the hotel also has a beautiful lobby. I would highly recommend this place in Amsterdam!
the hot water was not hot enough
I liked the fact that it was a warm building, once you enter it is very warm and feels like home. The room we stayed had 3 beds (for 3 people), it was warm with the A/C on 28 degrees and the bathroom had instant hot water and clean towels. It is a very clean premise, inside and out of the hotel's room. I also liked the fact that everyone was very welcoming and kind. It is hard for a group of people of any sort for all to be kind, and the group at the hotel were all approaching and considerate. I liked the fact that the receptionist when we arrived transcended professionalism. I also liked that fact that even though we left our room everyday around 11am, the maid always waited for us to leave, and then proceeded with cleaning the room. Very kind of the management.
I didn't like the fact that we had to pay for our stay once we arrived at the hotel.
location was very good and staff was very kind
room was very small
Staff is very hospitable and friendly. The room was very cozy, the air conditioner kept me warm inside. All in all everything was beyond my expectations.
Wifi could have been better.
almost everything: the location is perfectly in the center of Amsterdam that you can experience the city in the daytime and easily escape from the crowds at night; breakfast is also well-prepared.
I understand it's not the hotel nor the staff's fault, thus, I still recommend this hotel to everyone, except for those who cannot behave properly: some other guests was having kind of party through out level 3 and 4; they played music loudly; they shouted at each other in the passage; their kids yelled and screamed to their parents (or siblings) even after 1 AM.
Staff is friendly Hotel is very clean Breakfast was good Wifi worked well
Size of the room- they were small but most hotels in the area have the same issue due to the general structure of most building in Amsterdam
