This hotel is in 2 restored historic buildings across from of Vondelpark, only a quarter mile from Leidseplein. Hotel Vossius offers a computer for guests to use and a 24-hour front desk.

Rho is on the edge of Dam Square, half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater.

The Poet Amsterdam a Tryp is around the corner from the famous Vondelpark, right in Amsterdam’s chic museum district.

Liked everything about this hotel location, room breakfast and especially the lovely friendly staff from the reception staff to the breakfast staff. They couldn't do enough for us and we will definitely stay here next time we come to Amsterdam
Nothing everything great
We were very surprised at how clean and modern the hotel was! We had a wonderful breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
No A/C and sounds on the street disturbed our sleep because we had the windows opened.
The room is small, think shoe box! At the end of the day you don't spend much time in the room anyway. We were lucky the weather was quite cool as we booked a room without air con (not realising) could have been very uncomfortable in warmer months. Smokers sat in courtyard outside our room so had to keep closing windows as non-smokers.
Loved the location near the museum areas. The stafff was friendly and helpful. The room was bright and had more room than expected. the breakfast was very good.
There was not a good place in the room to lay a suitcase out flat except for the bed.
It was a short walk to all the places we wanted to see. The neighbourhood is attractive and safe. The hotel is tastefully furnished. No smoking a big plus for me!! Breakfast was excellent!
The shower has a curtain in front of it and the water splashes out onto the floor, making a terrible mess!!
Good location, nice decor, great staff, very good price, reliable Wifi
Came home with bites, so there may be a bug problem, poor choice of English language TV channels
it was quiet and peaceful
Location Staff were very helpful Hotel reception is lovely
Size of some of the rooms - our room was the smallest I'd ever seen, consisting of a big bed and about a 40cm gap between the bed and the wall. However we managed to switch rooms after one night to a much more suitable one.
Ideal Hotel for visits to the Museums and the Luxury Shopping District. Having Vondel Park next door was pleasant for a morning or evening stroll.
I stay here for one night only so there's not much I can say on the hotel except for the things you want to be correct for such a short stay. The reception was friendly, patient and informative. The vaulted room I booked was clean, had a really comfortable bed (that I actually never got to sleep in) and jacuzzi. I was sorry to leave
Very near park and Museums, and very easy to get back to from canal area. Excellent breakfast. Recommend paying extra to have it for convenience and good food.
Pleasant, helpful staff. Quiet, clean room with nice view of Vondel Park trees. Close to my meeting at the Rijksmuseum and evening walk in the park. Good breakfast and staff helpful with special diet. Altogether pleasant stay.
Bathroom quite narrow - would imagine a larger person might find it a bit of a squeeze and rather dim lighting in bathroom mirror.
Good location, near to the museums and in walking distance of most areas you would want to see. Also convenient for trams and buses. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making the stay particularly enjoyable. Good breakfast at a fair price.
The economy doubles are ridiculously small. Only contains a bed which has access from one side and a mere 18inches surrounding. No where to put a suitcase or anything else for that matter. Avoid at all costs!
The room was small and cosy and it had amazing views. It was impeccably clean and decorated in good taste. The personnel was really helpful and amazing.
The bathroom was a bit old and could have used a more "modern" feel. The room was too small for our taste and especially when compared to the price.
The environment is very tasteful. The staff helpful. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice and the location is great
Sometimes didn't have cold water in the evenings but it was a small thing
Quiet and good location. Seafood restaurant around the corner was great.
Our beds sloped slightly towards a wall. Woke up falling out of the bed.

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, interesting area, near parks, yet still close enough to city center.
A little hard to find, and the room was a little small. There is so much going on, you do not spend much time there anyway.
The lobby was welcoming and classily decorated. We arrived early and were able to check in straight away as our room was ready. Bed was very comfortable.
The standard of the bedroom didn't seem to match the standard of the reception areas. It was disappointing that they don't offer room service and there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Clean and modern decor, great staff, nice breakfast
location was good
tv was not working and i asked for it to be fixed, was not done!!! shower head did not stay in holder had to hold it in hand.no vending machines for any drinks after bar had closed.i have stayed in lots of other 3 star hotels in amsterdam and they all had machines.room was quite small for the price.hotel is not worth the high prices it charges.
Breakfast and staff and handy location along side vondel park
Pre charged credit card but made good
We enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. The hotel was ideally located. All touristy highlights were within walking distance. The room was clean, the staff were nice and we slept well.
