The location The reasonable price Room was very basic, small and uncomfortable. Its a bedroom for the night, no other pleasantries Noted that I had the dreaded top floor small room Hotel was dark, dingy, unwelcoming, creaky floors, challenging staircase, hidden toilet facilities, staff were not the friendliest.. Value for money..not really Conditions in a nearby hostel better and cheaper Certainly wouldn't recommend to a friend and definitely wouldn't stay there again. Better offers out there...

Free wi-fi Few of the staff are very rude, especially one who with tanned skin. Room is very average, sharing bathroom and toilet, not worth for 70 ERUO a night. Cleansing staff poured some cleaning powder on the floor in the room and didn't clean it afterward. Would not recommend at all.

Television in at least some rooms. Served breakfast. Unaccommodating staff. Booked prepaid for 4-bed room. Booked me in 6 and did not reimburse difference. Shower drains would not drain on multiple floors. Computers never worked during 4 day stay. Common area not available from 11pm until about 11:30 next morning. Rooms are cramped.

Staff is very nice, we saw one girl and two guys and they are very friendly and they were joking and smiling always.Location is good I think cause it is close to Leidseplein but not in a noisy place. First day when we came we would like to go to shower but there were not towels and we should wait for them some hours. And only one toilet for six rooms was on our floor.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location! The hotel bedrooms are extramily grubby and cramped, a couple of the hotel receptionists I bumbled in to we're extremely rude and arragant, you'd have no chance of getting out alive if there was a fire in the building, the stair cases are extremely windy and steep. The shared bathroom was clean but was always I. Use by my Indian neighbours. I'd never return tnthis hotel! Not even as a backpacker there are plenty of other nicer hostels in the city.

Good value, good location. Room was way too noisy for my liking, it's not the street. The problem was the door to the stairway, next to our room, it closes very loudly.

The location was the only positive thing to say about the hotel. The breakfast was fair Everything was dirty and greasy. You would get sticky fingers from touching anything in the hotel. We were in two different rooms because the window broke in the first room when we tried to open it and they even tried to accuse us for having broken it.

Excellent value for money for basic accommodation with good breakfast included in the price. Suggestion to improve the directions given to reach the Hotel Prince by tram. The tram stop name as displayed on the tram internal announciation board is :- 1e Con. Huygensstraat. Hence suggest that this tram stop name on the 'Overtoom' be included in the Public transport directions.

I liked the guys they were really nice and helpfull also cleaning lady was nice The wifi did not work for me/. Not only that the system is quite un-inviting and restricting (too secure?) (certain traffic did not pass). But the points-transmitters got switched off from time to time probably due to the frequency interference from other points or each other (it also looked like the [princess and [princess upstairs are actually on the same spot. Consequently I almost could not work.... very upsetting. Try 2 weeks without a password for the one of the access points ...

The best is its location: almost in the very centre. Couple of steps from tram stops and a food store. Decent breakfast included in the price. The policy of charging non-refundable full amount at the time of making reservation (and calling it reservation fee) is its biggest crime. Narrow staircase with steep stairs exhausting for dragging one's suitcase. Bad mattress. Of the four sockets, one working and one with loose holes that works in principle but not always in practice. Dank smell.

Some of your staff are not friendly enough, should I mention this? Yes....the Italian guy and the blondie Dutch girl! The only friendly staff is the guy with a hat on(dark skin) I have stayed in dorm room nr.3 and I've got bitten by bed bugs. Back to London with full of swollen bite bugs all over my back and my hand during sleeping at night! Bed sheet need to change daily or change the matras!

The hotel staff was very friendly and in a great location to one of the main squares of Amsterdam. They were able to answer all questions I had about Amsterdam and even looked up information for me. I believe that the price I paid for a single room was very steep. I knew that I would have to pay more for a single room but it was still not worth the money. The hotel was more like a hostel than a hotel. I had to share a toilet and shower with a few other rooms on the floor.
