Excellent value for money, and a lot better facilites than expected at these prices. Cleanliness of all rooms was excellent, and staff are extremely helpful and informative. Would recommend this Hotel to all back-packers, travellers and city breakers!! Not a larger variety of facilities in the Hotel, but ideal as a base-camp for city breakers. |

The staffs are friendly. This hotel is very close to large museums, and it was convenient for me. Wifi was free. Beds were clean. A key was not available at first. Each time I had to ask the reception to open the door. In the second night, I got the key. The dormitory room was small, and there was not so large place to put the bagage. |

In case of a bed in a dormitory everything depends on your room-mates. Nothing can not stop a stoned idiot sleep-walker or any other disaster of that kind. However the "Hotel Princess" staff is quite professional and friendly to solve common problems and give You advise about the city and time-out. The location of the hotel is it`s advantage. Noisy street and stuffy rooms in summer. |

I liked the prices the best. I did not like the hotel receptionist picking up on my nationality. |

Tram stop right outside, pretty easy to get around. Good range of TV channels (not that I watched it much). Good hot water, comfortable bed. Good value for it's price. The hallway was a bit musty, from moisture from the showers in the hall. My god those stairs are steep! |

The staff of this hotel has been the most friendly to our family and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious (breads, lunch meat, cheese, butter, jam, eggs, chocolate spread, etc...). You can start your day with a full tummy! The rooms were a little small, but very comfortable and clean. The showers, even though they're shared, were great (just don't forget your shower shoes), they're big and roomy. There is two things I didn't like about this hotel and one is not really their fault. The first one was the toilets, it was so so so small. The door is right on your nose! The second is the parking. Parking garage in Amsterdam are 45 euros/24H. You can park in the street, parking meters are 0.10 euros/1H (but you can't put more than an hour at the time). The staff graciously researched parking garages outside of town, and found one for us at the Arena (about a 2 hours round-trip by metro & tram for only 15km). The cost was 45 euros/2 days. So if you're planning to drive to Amsterdam make sure to have a good plan for parking or it's going to be an expensive one. |

The staff were extremely helpful. I was stranded in Amsterdam due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland and there was no problem in making extended reservation on a day by day basis. They also looked after my suitcase on the final day after I had checked out because my bus to UK was not until 10.30pm Fellow travellers need to be aware it is situated on a busy cross-roads, so do not expect peace and quiet. However, this does mean that you walk straight out of the door to the tram stops, supermarket and main tourist areas. |

It was in the city that I wanted to be in. And was available at the time i wanted to be in that city. Free parking advertised was 1km away and cost 40 euro per night. Staff were rude and generally unconcerned with what was happening. Internet did not work. |
