The hotel is pretty basic but the people are really friendly and helpful and it's clean and inexpensive. The fast flying ferry is fun and very convenient as a way to get there from Amsterdam Central train station. Ijmuiden is also a nice break from Amsterdam, as it is much less tourist-oriented town, for better or worse. This is a complaint about Ijmuiden, not the hotel: it's hard to find good restaurants there. I recommend eating in Amsterdam before you take the fast flying ferry to Ijmuiden. Also, the hotel's walking directions weren't very good. It's not hard to find, but if you print a map from Google maps and it will be easier than trying to use the info on the hotel web site. |

The staff was friendly and helpful. We were allowed to park our bikes inside even though there was no specific room for it. We were with two persons so they joined two single beds together. However the beds kept coming apart at night. |

Eigenaresse zag bij mijn aankomst dat ik voor zakelijk bezoek kwam overnachten dus vroeg op moest en gaf mij direct een andere kamer ivm mogelijk geluidsoverlast van naastgelegen uitgaanscafe, wat overigens best mee viel. Niet om gevraagd, wel attent. Had geen redenen tot klagen. Tevens goed ontbijt. |

Wat ik positief vond was de rust in het hotel. Verder viel het enorm tegen. Voorzieningen waren matig. Op een gegeven moment deed het licht in de badkamer niet eens. Verder zijn de bedden heel hard. Van een romantisch uitje kun je vergeten. De matrassen schuiven telkens uit elkaar. |

De ontspannen sfeer en het charmante aanbod van de medewerkster om ons met haar auto naar de schouwburg te brengen, nu er geen taxi tijdig beschikbaar was, waardoor wij nog op tijd voor de voorstelling waren. Het komt merkwaardig over dat er op het moment van onze aankomst, overdag, niemand in het hotel aanwezg was, waardoor we een tijd buiten moesten wachten totdat iemand met een auto was gearriveerd. Gelukkig was het weer op dat moment niet al te bar. |

een prima hotelletje 14 kamers , schone bedden etc niets op aan te merken .gezien de prijs !!! alleszins de moeite waard .indien we in de buurt vertoeven zullen wij dit hotel zeker weer gebruiken voor overnachting . |

vonden het een prima hotel erg vriendelijke mevrouw deed voor ons de deur open we waren wat laat.aparte lokatie zo midden in een woonwijk.wel rustige omgeving dus heerlijk geslapen in comfortabel bed, de kamer was mooi en rook heerlijk en het bad was lekker groot kamer was best stoffig en het kon wel wat schoner de prijs vonden we aan de hoge kant . |
