Excellent Location just by the station. Had a room for 3 and it was in the loft so very spacious. It did have a small windy staircase though and could have caused a problem when I had 'had a few' but managed it fine. I would reccomend this hotel. |

Good location, room was quite big in comparision to other same category hotels in Amsterdam. No blankets and room was cold during the nights. |

from the 20 something times i've been in Amsterdam, just twice i had to stay in different hotels- the rest was always in Prins Hendrik. I love the location- it's in the heart of the old city- everything of a tourist interest is within walking distance from there, the central station(besides the trains, most trams, if not all of them, pass it too, which makes it super convenient if you need transportation to anywhere)is right across from the hotel too. The hotel itself is nice and clean, nothing fancy, the nicest thing is that it's in a few old traditional Dutch houses- with giant windows and steep staircases(there IS elevator!!!). The staff is nice and friendly(in that strange cold Dutch way:)). I recommend it to everyone! The maids often start knocking on your door before noon, which is crazy- especially considering the fact that most businesses don't even open till 11-11:30am or even noon. |

The hotel is very near Amsterdam Centraal, the main railway station, and within walking distance of the old town, shops and many tourist attractions. The hotel is not very big and there is a pleasant atmosphere. |

Perfect location - close to trams, train station, canal boat across street, not far from museums and shopping and walking area. Breakfast was nice and good fruit available (and good tea from England!). Rm. 109 has nice view of street and goings-on and fab big windows. Old bldg. With an elevator. Connected to oldest pub in Amsterdam (but not noisy bec. Of it). We stayed a week (we started with 2 days just to try it out and then we were going to move to a less expensive place but liked this one a lot so we stayed!)!! Nice guys at small front desk. Not everything worked - I.E. Lamps and door didn't lock at first bec. They are bldg. A new subway line near and it is making all blds. Shift! But they were very quick to fix these and to respond to our inquiries. |

Booked a room in the hotel, which was full - but given an apartment; which was actually perfect for our group. Hotel staff were very apologetic for the mix-up, very friendly and very helpful. |

The location was excellent but the rooms are dated and the whole place needs a facelift. The sheets on the bed were very clean but had burn holds in them. |

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Although centrally located, the hotel is quiet. I had stayed there in the past, and this time my room, though very large, was not as attractively furnished and decorated as the previous one. |

The efficiency and courtesy of the staff. The size of the bedroom (no. 101) The steep stairs. However, there was a lift. |

The location There were loud noise from the street outside and ear plugs saved our night sleep. This should have been offered by the hotel but we asked and they did not have any. Also there were just a thin bedsheet and we had to use the coverlet to keep warm. |

The staff at the reception desk was helpful and acted for the satisfaction of the travellers, giving good hints of what to do etc. Thank you! The noise from the street was quite loud, but I understand there is nothing you can do about that. Otherwise I was very pleased. |

The location was excellent for the railway station and centre of the city, but not suitable for elderly or frail guests due to the stairs in the corridors The accommodationwas quite basic, without frills |
