The hotel was spotless, extremely clean. The staff where very accommodating and nothing was a problem. The breakfast was lovely, the coffee and pastries just hit the spot. The beds where very comfortable and the funky neon lights under the bed where just part of the fun. The location was fab, we jumped on tram 51, centraal station which was only 7 stops and only cost 2.70 euro. I will defiantly book again. The only thing that was brought up as an issue was our friends said they heard cleaners banging and vacuuming very early in the morning in the room next and the person had heels on whom were heavy footed, but I said that why you have the place so clean you have to start somewhere..

For a "Design" hotel it was very badly designed! If the Designer/Owner/Manager used any room just once they would realise that there are basic elements that are omitted or poorly executed. The glass shower screen should go all the way to the floor so that water can not splash up all over the floor. There is no shelf in the shower for toiletries. The sink is on a small pedestal leaving no room for a wash bag or any personal items. There is nowhere to hang a hand towel. The toilet is completely open to the room (this is not good even for a long standing couple!), If you need to use the toilet in the night the light lights up the whole room disturbing your partner. Design is about form and function, aesthetics and purpose. This hotel - looks good - don't work!

Very efficient service. Friendly staff. The bathroom has no door, as some others have commented on. Not much of an issue for a solo traveller but no doubt awkward for couples, groups of friends, etc.

Qbic Hotel has a really different colorful ambience. Location is very good,it is not complicated. You can go to the hotel from city center by only one tram. Reception service was quiet fast. The room was cold and we could not do anything about that. When we arrived to room there was not hair dryer in the room and we had to go back and ask to reception.Although the room was very clean first day of course we wanted the cleaning for our room after two days of our staying. For room cleaning they changed only towels but put one less and again we had to ask to reception this time for towel. The other bothering things about cleaning were they did not change sheets just tidied bed and did not clean also bath.

(Deceiving) is the description for this hotel. Everything about it is deceiving E.G. their photos in the internet are attractive but rooms are bad, they do not have (Non-smoking) signs in the room to make you smoke so that they charge you 100 Euros, room service knocks on the door one time very early in the morning in the hope you will say: (Later) and they never come back again claiming that I lost the chance. Even if they clean the room they do not change the bed sheets, the rooms are cold during night and they refuse to adjust the temperature for the guest, their payment is completely non refundable even after you complain about all these bad services, The rooms appear clean but dirt and filth is accumulating in all the unseen areas, room furniture are very uncomfortable, windows cannot be opened, if a guest did not book a breakfast the previous day, he will not be allowed to eat breakfast, the hotel is away from shops, restaurants. It was a horrible experience.

It was a really fun place to stay in - loved the design, loved the corridors (who could ever really say that about a hotel but it is true) thought the whole bedroom concept was amazing and it was all topped off with friendly, helpful staff!

The hotel staff where very friendly and always there to help. Located right beside the train station it was very close to the city and also to Ajax stadium. The Rooms where very modern and unique and spacious enough for 2. There is also a wagamama close by which serves excellent food. The mood light in the room only stayed 1 colour and thought it was meant to change colours. The breakfast was okay it you are not looking for an English breakfast and prefer a contenantial breakfast.

The thing I like about the Qbic hotel is that the design of the room is one of a kind. The tv had al kinds of chanels which was very nice. The room did not had a toilet scrubber, it did not had windows to look outside of wake up with a morning shine of the sun.( I prefered a nice view of the outside world. Tv was very small. The tv was not placed correct when you were lying in bed you could not see the tv very well. The room did not had extra pillows. The room was very small.so kind a felt a little bit clastrofobic.

A simple hotel with rooms with the essentials: very nice bed, good shower and clean sheets. Rooms are big, but do not have much furniture. My room did not have a window, but as I just needed a place to sleep, this was no problem at all. If you're looking for a romantic get-away, this is not the place for you, but if you need a good place to stay for a very good price, it definitely is! The user surfaces of the room (sheets, floor, shower) were clean, but in corners and under the bed it was quite dusty. The overall feel would improve even more when this is solved.
