It's near the area of museums. The facility of basement room made sharp noise when I used the water, there's little space for baggage. |

The location was lovely. The Street itself was quiet and located in a residential area. The house is a lovely old house with some original features in place. The male staff were rude and disinterested. The room was tiny and the TV didn't work. The carpet was worn. There was no space to open the door to the room let alone any space to relax. The towels were hand towels rather that bath towels. |

It was quite guiet and close to the city centre. Room was filthy and smelly, dead bugs on walls, has one very small window, so I wasn't able to get any fresh air. Bedclothes were filthy and disgusting, I used to sleep on my own towel instead of a pillow. I had been staying there for 8 nights and they haven't changed my bedclothes; towels - just once. Breakfast costs 7 euro extra, but I wasn't able to use it: one time, they had no bread, other time - simply there was no breakfast. Although they have no Internet, no wifi, they advised me to try to catch wifi from neighbouring hotel. No iron in the hotel. |

The hotel is very well situated; all of Amsterdam is within close proximity. The lack of a barrier between the shower and the toilet in the low budget room. Therefore, the water spilt all over the floor in the bathroom! |

The rooms were fairly clean; the only shock was that we were entering to the smallest hotel room that one could ever find, there were barely walking space in the room. The most obvious cheerio for this hotel is that it is a stone's throw away from the museum quarter. But fear not, there are aplenty of hotels along the same street so you might want to do abit more of a research first. They were doing refurbishment works during our stay, so we had to walk to the 4th floor and through a fire escape, then down a spiral staircase to get into our room on the other side. If could have been informed as our partner has walking difficulties. One of the bespectacled girl at the front desk was also unhelpful- we asked for a kettle or even places to get hot water, to make milk for the baby, only to be told curtly no. At such circumstances she could at least 'appear' to be trying to help rather than showing it in a thick tone. I wonder where they get hot water for the breakfast area anyway. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends as i don't find it value for money nor the experience makes you feel welcomed as a guest. |

The location, it was near the center and you could go everywhere on foot. The room was extremely small and not clean. There was not an elevator and the stairs were steep and many.... |

Location- Leidseplein and Vondelpark are 5 mins walk away. Close to lots of transport. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Free wifi, Price- accomodation in Amsterdam is generally costly. Water leaking onto bathroom floor from shower cubicle and pipes from sink and maybe even toilet - I did not stay long enough to check. Thin walls- could hear the neighbours re-enacting the red light district. Very average continental breakfast- better and cheaper options out in the town. |

Yes The room we had was in the basement which was ridiculous. We had a tiny window, very little air and the matresses did not fit the bed. When we complained they said they had nothing else available and could do nothing about it. The following day they offered us another room - next door, still in the basement, we refused as it was no better than the one we were in. |

The location was incredible - down a leafy street right in the centre of Amsterdam & the Vondel park is almost on your doorstep. Basic but comfortable room. Friendly staff. |

The price requested on weekdays was reasonable for the hotel quality. The position of the hotel is nice and relatively close to the city center. The hotel was noisy, both from stairs and from other rooms. The shower curtain was useless. The price applied on weekends/special event days was definitely too high with respect to the services offered. |

Location is good. Bathroom is included. My room was in ground floor. There were no windows and airconditioner. So the air was heavy. TV was not working and they couldn't fix it in 3 days. I have stayed 3 nights there and they haven't changed towels. |
