The location, it was near the center and you could go everywhere on foot. The room was extremely small and not clean. There was not an elevator and the stairs were steep and many.... |

Location- Leidseplein and Vondelpark are 5 mins walk away. Close to lots of transport. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Free wifi, Price- accomodation in Amsterdam is generally costly. Water leaking onto bathroom floor from shower cubicle and pipes from sink and maybe even toilet - I did not stay long enough to check. Thin walls- could hear the neighbours re-enacting the red light district. Very average continental breakfast- better and cheaper options out in the town. |

Yes The room we had was in the basement which was ridiculous. We had a tiny window, very little air and the matresses did not fit the bed. When we complained they said they had nothing else available and could do nothing about it. The following day they offered us another room - next door, still in the basement, we refused as it was no better than the one we were in. |

The location was incredible - down a leafy street right in the centre of Amsterdam & the Vondel park is almost on your doorstep. Basic but comfortable room. Friendly staff. |

The price requested on weekdays was reasonable for the hotel quality. The position of the hotel is nice and relatively close to the city center. The hotel was noisy, both from stairs and from other rooms. The shower curtain was useless. The price applied on weekends/special event days was definitely too high with respect to the services offered. |

Location is good. Bathroom is included. My room was in ground floor. There were no windows and airconditioner. So the air was heavy. TV was not working and they couldn't fix it in 3 days. I have stayed 3 nights there and they haven't changed towels. |

Central location for getting around easily, comfortable room/bed, friendly and helpful staff, room was value for money. Bit noisy at times, no lift at all only steep stairs, bar in hotel was quite expensive, no tea facilities in the room. |

The hotel is convenient for the Leidseplein and the express bus stop for the airport. We have stayed at the Quentin England 3 times now but I do feel it is getting a bit pricey for one night - 92 euro's for a two star hotel. Having said that I have booked another triple room in February. We are three English Ajax supporters and have been coming over to Amsterdam for a number of years but used to stay near centraal (Damrak) station area. |

Great location, friendly staff. Surprised room was not cleaned every day - I used the same towel for 4 nights. It was also quite expensive for a downstairs single (190 Euro for 4 nights). And they charge 5% for payments by credit card - that is far to expensive. Luckily an ATM is nearby. Basically its a Hostel masquerading as a Hotel - BUT, I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. |

The location of the hotel was excellent. The difficulties associated with menial tasks such as storing luggage, obtaining a functioning remote control for the television, or obtaining advice for eateries or sites. |

The rooms were unclean. The bedding in particular was stained and several of the party suffered bites from fleas or bed bugs! A room was reserved and then we were told it was no longer available. The relevant guest was asked to sleep in what could best be described as a shed. He too received bites either from bedbugs or fleas! |
