NH Waalwijk  

We went to this hotel for one night as we had a 2-days visit to the Efteling. The hotel is nicely furbished , good value for money and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Excellent value for money. I would definetely recommend anybody appreciating a calm/clean and friendly stay in a hotel.

It was a very nice hotel with lovely facilities. Incredibly comfortable and with friendly and helpful staff. The food served is also delicious.

I didn't like the distance from any sort of civilisation. It cost 65 Euros to get to the hotel in a taxi from Den Bosch Station. There is a frequent bus service that runs into Den Bosch and it only costs 3 Euros for a return journey, so the taxi cost is a complete rip off. It's not that close to Waalwijk centre either. You sort of feel a bit stranded at the hotel.

Very nice and stylish hotel, beautiful atmosphere.

Too noisy on the first floor

The bed was very, very comfortable. It was nice to have a bath. Value for money was excellent. Staff was very friendly and well organised. Location is great for business.

Not so much for leisure guests to stay for a couple of nights. Then I would prefer something in the city centre. Maybe if you want to go visit the efteling and you have to travel from far, then this hotel is perfect.

Design of the Hotel. Comfort.

Internet wifi does not work. We paid 20+ eur for the wifi in the room and we did not have a decent connection. Wifi in the lobby is free, but it did not work either. This was extremely disappointing.

Perfect location for De Efteling. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food was superb - the set menu was such high quality that two of out party ate it two nights in a row. 24 hour room service was a real bonus. All public areas are very comfortable.

We added an extra night on after the original booking and breakfast wasn't included in the price. I only went to the dining room with my partner that morning to keep him company so ended up being charged for breakfast. At 18 euros it is probably the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever drunk.

Flexible and nice staff. Very good to have check out until late (12m).

Rooms are very clean with very comfortable beds. Decor is also very modern.

Comfortable, clean and very well presented hotel ideally located for a visit to De Efteling theme park which is only 5 minutes by car. Attractive decor and excellent staff.

Food expensive comparative to room rate. Opted to eat away from the hotel for a cheaper alternative.

Hotel is a nice facility and is very clean and comfortable. It has a nice restaurant and a nice Brasserie and Bar. The breakfast was very good.

Uitstekende uitvalbasis voor de Efteling, 's Hertogenbosch en Breda. Het entree geeft direct een uitstekende indruk; receptie en bediening restaurant adequaat en heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is overweldigend.

Uitstekend hotel. Geweldig ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijk personeel.

Voor ons doel. Dat was een bezoek aan een toneelstuk in Waspik, in de avonduren. Om na de toneelvoorstelling nog anderhalf uur in de auto te moeten zitten om onze woonplaats te bereiken? Daar hadden we geen zin in.
