nothing - it was disgraceful, dirty and gave the key of my room to another person too so I went into my room after a night out to find someone else's stuff too. There was nothing I liked |

Location was convenient, 5 mins walk from Centraal Station, The lobby has a very nice decor and is welcoming. The room was on the top floor, without me having a choice. Thats a big problem if you have heavy bags as there is no lift and the stairs are narrow, steep and tightly spiraled. Very very difficult getting the bags up, no offer of assistance, |

The spacious old foyer with somewhere to meet some friends and have a coffee and time to do so. we found it welcoming and wonderful to just sit with out of town visitors. Excellent. having to close the windows to keep the funny cigaret smoke out at night. |

The only positive thing about the hotel in my opinion is its close proximity to the train station (Amsterdam Centraal). Only a ten to fifteen minute walk, which is no small thing when you have luggage. The rooms are incredibly small (when I stayed with the Trappist monks, I had a larger room) and they're not terribly clean. For the price we paid, we honestly expected something a bit more comfortable. Not five star, but clean sheets without rips and space for a roller bag in the room would be nice. Walls are paper thin, which is even worse when you're facing the street. We took a chance despite the other reviews and, well, we got what we paid for. |

Location Yes. I saw a mouse in our room. It came from the hallway and went into our room. I couldn't sleep all night and the doors didn't lock. I am 20 years old and have stayed in some shitty hotels, but this was the worst. |

The front lobby was pleasant but through the door and it was like entering another dimension as everything changed to extremely shabby. The rooms were small, badly looked after, beds uncomfortable and shared facilities, for the cost of staying in this hotel, we might have as well just checked into a hostel, as it was not much better. |

Simple, clean, very small room. Comfortable bed. Didn't need to spend much time in the room during our visit to Amsterdam -- just there to sleep. The downstairs lobby area is beautiful and inviting. It would have been nice to have our own toilet/shower in or attached to our room. |
