We booked a economy double room and had some initial issues with power outlet (there was none in our room), heater and water pressure in the shower. We informed the reception and when we returned from our day tour we got an upgrade to a large family room. Basically all problems were promptly solved by the staff. It's an old building, a sloped stair in front of hotel, but nothing to disturb your stay. We had problems but were quickly solved.

Excellent location. Bus station for airport next to hotel, boat station near hotel, lots of restaurants close to hotel, shops close to hotel. Triple room not very big but fair space for few days stay. Small bathroom without shower cabine. No closet available despite it was a triple room.

Coffee available at Reception. Friendly staff Walls were thin and could hear the drone of neighbours voices. Doors slamming at all hours. Guests coming in in the early hours, very loud and could hear stairs creaking. Room was so hot we woke in a sweat every night. Heater was off and took us a while to realise that there were two pipes running up the wall that were burning hot to touch which must have been supplying all the heat. Very uncomfortable stay and too expensive for what you get. My husband is 193cm tall and he could touch both walls with arms outstretched.

Excellent location near Leidseplein in the heart of the city, authentic experience as the hotel is actually a typical canal house, nice view to the canals if you are lucky to get such a room, staff is friendly, nice cafe/restaurant with a canal view (haven't actually tried the breakfast though), good price/quality ratio The rooms are small and with limited furniture (although the bathroom was ok), no proper window insulation so cold air from outside is constantly coming through even with closed windows (take care when visiting in the cold months even though there is heating)

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were basic but nice enough and very good value for money. I enjoyed the breakfasts too. I couldn't say there was anything I didn't like - for the budget it was very good.

The location was perfect. The hotel is near a tram station and a cannal bus station so you can get to anywhere very quickly. There were nice restaurants in the area too. They had free wifi, the staff were all nice specially the lady who checked us in and gave us directions on how to get to one of the windmills. They even let us check-in early and then leave our luggages after checking out the next day. Water was leaking from the toilet. The toilet flush is not working.

The best location available, basically in the centre of Leidseplein. Amazing receptionists. I still do not understand how they made me get on my plane in time. Very nice housekeeping lady, not of the extreme kind. I would say the hotel has a very excellent elevator. I did not eat breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Shit was tight. Not much negative to comment on.

I was really impressed with this Hotel. My single room was only 29 Euros and came with an en-suite even though I thought it was a shared bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable with towels provided and a hairdryer available for free from reception. It is only 2 minutes walk from Leidesplein tram stop and my room had a great view overlooking the canal as well as free wi-fi. No complaints to make, thoroughly recommend the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very good especially Nelson, one of the receptionists. However we suggest that a kettle should be provided in the rooms so one can make tea in the room. It does not cost much to place some tea bags, sugar and milk etc. in the room. Otehrwise it was a very good hotel at a superb and central location. Regards, Tanveer Ahmed

The location is really fantastic, right in the middle of towndown, and 10 mins away from Red Light District. It was way too cold when we stayed there, cause the heater was not working well!
