Radisson BLU Hotel Amsterdam Airport is located in the green business park Schiphol-Rijk, only a 10 minute drive from Schiphol Airport. A free shuttle bus to the airport is available every 30 minutes. The hotel rooms are spacious and have coffee and tea facilities. Free Wi-Fi is offered in the entire hotel. Guests have free access to the on-site Health Club featuring extensive fitness facilities, sauna and steam bath. Talavera Restaurant features a menu with gastronomically prepared dishes while the Lighthouse restaurant serves light and healthy meals. Rodolpho’s Bar offers cold beverages and light snacks in a lounge atmosphere. Good value for money, except for the breakfast option. See below. The hotel must offer options for breakfast other than a breakfast buffet. Either "a la carte" or a cafe where people can buy coffee/pastries/etc at a reasonable cost. I felt "forced" to buy a 25 Euro breakfast when I really do not eat that much in the morning. That increased the cost of my room by 40% ! I would recommend the hotel but will warn them that they will have no breakfast options.

Cleanliness, good location to airport. Very disappointed, because I chose this hotel because of the spa, just to find out, that on Sunday it closes at 14:00h. 2nd, most of television programs only available with additional pay. 3rd, a party upstairs was very noisy. 4th, walls are thin, so that you hear next door person snorring.

Hotel quality is poor compared to the prize. Missing hair dryer which is basic stuff in hotels. With this prize I would imagine a great breakfast with a cook preparing food on demands but you could only have some toast, eggs, ham and fruits.

Proximity to office Although the booking.com rate was better than company or rack rate. This hotel is normally very expensive and the reduced rate was still higher than other local hotels.

Great rooms, very comfortable. Hotel is 20 minutes away from the airport. Shuttles don't start until 6 am, so if you have an early flight you'll have to book a taxi. If you don't have an early flight this is a great hotel. If you have an early flight, go somewhere closer to the airport or with earlier shuttle services.

The location is not bad if you need something near the airport. The shuttle takes 13 minutes each way. I can't understand why this hotel is in the 5 star category. This is a very low 4 star hotel or even a good 3 star. It is not the cleanest place, it is very noisy, the body gel and shampoo smell like a rancid bottle of rum,... There isn't even a clock in the room. If you need something next to the airport, give the Sheraton a try, it is right across the street.

Everybody that worked there was really professional and nice, free internet Not taking account the current renovations there, the whole hotel had an odd look to it, which did not give the Radisson blu feeling.

Close to Schiphol Airport Beds were uncomfortable, no ambiance and the staff at the front desk were not friendly at all (maybe because we were still young and no business people)

The staff is very kind and helpful! The hotel is far away from Amsterdam and also from the airport, though well served by shuttle service to Schiphol airport from where Amsterdam is easy to reach by train

It is across the street from my company's office. Reception staff were very rude and kept telling me to put my card pin in the reader which did not show an amount. After much grief I was finally told that they were authorizing the room rate, a city tax not included in the rate plus 100 euros for incidentals. As a frequent business traveller I found this to be sneaky by not telling me up front (as in at the desk before giving my pin) and also poor practice as no other hotel in Europe has requested this. The shuttle bus is a joke and comes around once per all other hotel's two trips - better to take a cab. Bathroom was dated and awkward. Room key had to be replaced twice as it never worked. Bed was fine, breakfast staff were friendly. Nothing about this hotel will ever make me come back.

The location was convenient. I was harrassed by a maid who didn't seem to comprehend that "Do not disturb" meant do not enter/clean my room. She aggressively yelled at me how it is not good to go two days without having my room cleaned. I informed her that it was my decision and that the room could be cleaned upon my departure. She continued to yell at me. When I reported it to the front desk, they simply told me her English wasn't good and that it must've been a misunderstanding. I understood her tone and facial expression perfectly. I felt uncomfortable around her for the remainder of my stay and dreaded possible further confrontation. Customers should not be made to feel this way.

The hotel location, the shuttle service and the breakfast was excellent. The 4* hotel itself is way over price. Service's as per hotel is very poor. I booked a triple business room for 3 with the extras that comes with the room. But instead I got a basic twin/bed room with the extras for one person. What is very disappointing is that you dont get what you see and book online and as a Radisson Blu Hotel it is a very poor situation. Overall this is not a 4* hotel. I have stayed at better hotels and you get what you pay. This hotel will be off my list for future stays.
