Breakfast service was poor.Breakfast was cold.No forward information given about where everything was.Overcrowded restaurant.Not enough consideration given when complaint was made.

Great central location with friendly, accommodating staff in hotel reception, bar and restaurant. We changed rooms on arrival with no problem, and only because we wanted to be on a higher floor. Standard rooms were large and comfortable and each one that we saw was laid out differently.

I was very impressed with the staff in general.They were very efficient and extremeLy friendly.The Superior room we booked was well proportioned and tastefully decorated

My only complaint would be that upon arrival the robes and slippers were only for one person but upon requesting another set this was quickly resolved

Well situated Good staff

- Several important white stains on a dark blue wall in the bedroom not at all cleaned after a 4 days stay. - Spoons and cups available in the bedroom not properly cleaned. - Unable to make a late check out although we were with our two year old kid. No solution proposed as we had to leave the room for a "special guest". After spending more than EUR 1.000 this is definitely not the kind of answer we are supposed to receive. All those annoying things shouldn't happened in a hotel of this level.

Did receive a wake up call in error at 6.00am - not able to sleep properly after it which was annoying on a Saturday morning. Tea & coffee not great - for circa £220 per night would expect decent brand/milk etc instead of sachets of creamer etc.

Check in and check out were very quick, parking facilities at the hotel were excellent, hotel staff had excellent knowledge of the area and were very helpful.

Location is perfect, very central and quiet area, just off all the hustle and bustle and yet within easy reach. We booked a Double Superior room which was very well equiped with modern furniture and very spacious, overlooking the street as requested at time of booking. Clean and neat bathroom. Only realised that it was twin beds instead of one double when we were off to sleep the first night but did not bother to complain about it.

charging 7 Euro's per minute for a phone call is criminal! Especially when Amsterdam has no public phones. It ruined the hotel experience for me entirely I think paying for gym additionally is not reasonable either - in all marketing material I read nothing stating "extra for use of gym" it was misleading

The location was perfect. You can access to Red Light district, Dam square or Rembrant square with just a couple of minutes of walk. The hotel rooms were also very convenient, warm and full of high quality features. The breakfast is also very tasty and the is really a lot of stuff to choose from. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who expects a very good Amsterdam experience.

The prices were above the average, try to catch a deal for 170-180 EUR+tax per night incl breakfast in this hotel. If you can, do not really look for a substitue.
